Very creative use of hinges, there is a lack of good in depth tutorials for Trailmakers and groundbreaking systems like this could make gameplay much more varied and competitive, keep up the good work

I've been working on this "warp drive" tech. It was especially potent in the times before you could repair mid-air, but it could take you 0-6000 instantly and phase through mountains. Crazy unstable but was really good for getting away from a fight. It'd be cool to merge the two and make something totally alien.
That is tech that people would kill for man, keep it secret or give it to people only you trust 👀. I know like 50 people who would pay you for that, one would pay handsomely 🤣. Nice work and keep going ⛈️

@@DirtbikeChampion150 you pull an indestructible seat apart at both sides with pistons. You can only use it in the air, really. There's the "warm-up" stage and then the invulnerable stage. At warm up, it twitches like crazy, then once it's done it teleports you around random points farther and farther away until you hit the border or repair.
If you take some classes on editing you could easily be on par with Scrapman
And a slightly better microphone

you could weaponize it by sticking an intentionally unstable version on the enemy using anchor pins, but that might just give the enemy their own stealth drive

Thanks for the build vid! This explains how and why my hinge glitch flyer works so well, yet so unpredictable and air repair throws it completely out of wack in flight. I did notice that the bigger I made the hinge drive the more stable, and faster it got. I have posted the versions on the Steam workshop "Silence" and Mk2, Mk3 and Mk3.1. which I based off of +Sebastian centrifuge racer. Not my original creation, I reverse engineered from his, so all credit goes to him. I just made it fly.
Great video! I assume the weapons tech includes the fact that the hinges travel at insanely high speeds and if they hit a build, both the build and the hinge will be immediately destroyed

an interesting thing is that I actually found out how to do this glitch (I did take hints from the Yzuei video, observing the plane a bit so it wasn't as hard as it was for others, but I did figure it out before watching this video).
The most stable I got it would still create a few control issues (similar to what it caused for you, but it was pretty inconsistent and would put me into a death spiral at times) and I actually did it by over stretching the hinges instead of compressing them (and I actually got it somewhat stable on a plane).
I also found that alternating the hinges increases stability, however it was impossible to turn it off as the hinges wouldn't want to come back out of orbit on both the alternating and non alternating hinge version (which I did see was a thing on your version too).
I will definitely experiment with this glitch, trying things like adding more spaces, find more ways of making it more stable, finding a way to actually turn it off etc.
Anyways I'll probably won't use the glitch in casual dogfighting as it would be pretty unfair looking at the fact that your version more stable than my version and that my plane that has my version of the stealth drive is already unfair against the average dogfighter without using the stealth drive (it can go at about 750 kmh and I can see my own smoke trail when I pitch xD) even though the stealth drive was dead weight when It's turned off as it's not doing anything and I could fit more thrust in it's place.
Me and some friends decided to tinker with this sorta stuff after seeing yuzei's, and we were able to make a working 10 complexity version, although definitly not the best compared to other stuff.

You should show some UFO engine stuff, not many youtubers actually go over how to build a vehicle around one, ThatDomGuy is about the only one i know of who gets close to showing us how to make a vehicle with one.

i had a very close version but then it was streching the hinges instead of crushing them
I had an idea to test with pistons and hinges considering they are moving parts, but i didn't think of trying to compress them together.

There’s a lot of settings you can tune as well as using aerodynamic workarounds… (try widening the wings… ALOT)
I add detachable blocks being one click away from turning into a floating minefield with self firing weapons

i just built a mini version that uses only 1 piston in length instead of to but it does not work every time it works just take a bit

if you put two of the stealth drives on a creation you could have a way to keep up stealth when one drive is destroyed.
I just watched the video, he said that if the drive is touched by anything, the entire creation would blow up.

i did one too but i used another design i pulled the pistons appart not compressed it is not as stable as yours i saw your glitch from yuzeis video, there was a small gap from the covers where you could see the pistons and hinges and this is how i got it (kinda)
