Another great video. When I walked the Camino, Aug/Sep 2023, the first thing I noticed all the 100kers had new shoes, and the pilgrims looked very fresh. I also noticed the “Buen Camino” greeting almost disappeared. I also saw a lot of cheating. I saw people leaving the hotels/alburgues, walk until about lunch, stop for lunch, and then get on a bus to their next hotel. That’s how they got their two stamps a day. I thought they were not only cheating on the Camino, but cheating themselves. Just my worthless opinion. Thanks for posting. Buen Camino!
Another thing I heard from others as well as our own experience was how loud they were. Many were playing music. The atmosphere totally changed. I always used the "ultreya" greeting and not one of them knew what I was talking about. Oh, well. I'll do the Camino my way and they can do it their way.
