btw this rom hack was from one of simpleflips's rom hack competitions and this is also why it is mandatory to be able to get on the roof without the cannon as simpleflips can do it without issue
What if the Yellow Switch was kept in the finished game? What cap powerup do you think it would give? Since the Red Switch makes you light and the Green Switch makes you heavy, and the Blue Switch makes you invisible, I'd say that the Yellow Switch would have something to do with Light. Maybe it would be needed to get through Big Boo's Haunt, with the Boos not dying unless there was a light shined on them with the Yellow Cap. Maybe the light would make certain objects and enemies explode into coins (another yellow staple of the Mario series), making certain areas able to be accessed that would otherwise look breakable but were unable to be broken by a punch or anything. What do you guys here in the comments of this 2-year-old video think?

I decided to contact Nintendo (Creator of Super Mario) on the matter, and I got an email back from a "Luis" about a rom that still held an old version where there was an early demo of the yellow switch level.
