When I started riding I thought "this is great, I can commute by bike and save a lot of time!"
I tried it a couple times and now I only ride on the weekends in the mountains. If I'm going to die on a bike, it's going to be because I enjoy riding, not because I'm trying to pay my bills.

It's either riding or 3 hours of public transport a day

Everyone seems to be indicating and leaving a gap for two wheelers to filter where possible. Much better than the UK.

I've only ridden on the Peripherique twice - going to/returning from Le Castellet for the Bol d'Or one year - interesting to say the least. But at leasr most car drivers did use their indicators 😄🏍.

Just got back to the US after spending a week and a half in Paris. I've been driving cars and riding motorcycles for 30 years and thought I had skills. Then I saw traffic in Paris. I'm confident there are rules but I'll be damned if i can figure out what they are. 🤣Anyway, it was a beautiful city full of wonderful people and I can't wait to go back. Rest assured I'll be taking the Metro and staying off the road though.

It's impossible to drive through Paris now, I stay out of the city center as much a possible.. 8 years ago or so it was still doable

Lane splitting is super dangerous for motorcycles! Don't do it if you don't have to

It's super fun, especially in Paris
