I was taught it was my responsibility to bring the torch of knowledge to the wastes. I may have taken the torch part more literally than they intended.
I do kind of agree with him but his methods are indeed too extreme, I think caesar should rethink things and set up a government where they can be strict on their laws without murdering people either.
Mankind's truth is war. It is what we know. It is how we move through the dialectics. So, not for ideals, or past mistakes, but for a new future... ... *Ave.*
A lot of people wonder about that and would depend on a lot of factors; 1:Did Caesar take Vegas? 2: Did Lanius take Vegas? 3: Did the Legion lose the Second Battle? Who was in charge? Then we have the problem that we don't know much about how the Legion land is organised other than it's safe and people have no (major) complaints about their fate.
has anyone noticed what the legion soldiers(the ones sharpening machetes and training) say before battle of hoover damn man the legion has the will they can easily kill ncr and take half of the US in the fallout universe
If done right it could be interesting, especially if JE Sawyer was in charge of writing again. Perhaps set in "Legion-land" where the legion is stretched thin after Caesar took most of the men to Nevada thus letting threats rise...
LitD I am thinking of making a mod taking place in Arizona called Fallout: Welcome to Arizona, taking place 10 years after New Vegas and 2 years after Fallout 4 with a weaken Legion fighting the NCR, a Raider Faction, Slave Rebellion, Super Mutant Faction. Or you could join Caesar's Legion and become the new Emperor.
Join the real legion my brothers and we will take this land and create a new world free of all impurity’s. Reply to this if you show dedication to the cause.
I would like the legion if they weren't misogynistic and had Vulpes Inculta voiced by Wes Johnson in his Lucien LaChance/Mr. Burke voice. Then it would be abso-fucking-lutely perfect.
I love Caesars legion they are my favourite faction in the Fallout universe but there is one thing i dong like about them...they dont really use firearms in reality they would lose instantly but if they would use firearms more they would have a chance. they are underrated but for a reason i would change them a bit not much just a bit.
Not true both in game and in lore. In fact the have a larger variety of firearms used than many other factions including a howitzer. In lore it's a case of a philosophy in which soldiers are drilled to trust close quarters over ranged because guns can fail to fire for a variety of reasons, a sword will pretty much always work. Which is a nice way of covering up the fact that the Legions country doesn't have the industry to supply all their soldiers with the same type of rifle, a problem that even the NCR suffers from. It's worth remembering that in fallout most modern knowledge and technology is lost, these people are rediscovering how to make many things and the mass production of firearms is one of those things.
Caesar legion undoubtedly holds the best military ideals for the post apocalyptic world, but no man wants to live as a slaves and so caesar legion is doomed to fall from within especially when their are more slaves than soldiers

We could use a Caesar right about now.
@Jay Slomine Trump's a rich idiot who has no idea what he's doing and is as corrupt as they come.
I'm thinking for the new next game of Fallout: what would happen if there's a Caesar's Legion civil war(just like in the history but a different one)?
A lot of people wonder about that and would depend on a lot of factors;
1:Did Caesar take Vegas?
2: Did Lanius take Vegas?
3: Did the Legion lose the Second Battle? Who was in charge?
Then we have the problem that we don't know much about how the Legion land is organised other than it's safe and people have no (major) complaints about their fate.
Indeed
Good to see we have Legionnaires willing to fight to the death for our Legion. True to Caesar.

We need a Fallout game with Legion in it again...
If done right it could be interesting, especially if JE Sawyer was in charge of writing again. Perhaps set in "Legion-land" where the legion is stretched thin after Caesar took most of the men to Nevada thus letting threats rise...
