Yangon is NOT the capital city, Naypyidaw is. Why? In 2004, Yangon was getting too crowded and the military government built a new capital city called Naypyidaw. Naypyidaw is almost completely empty, it's a city 6 times bigger than New York City with less than 800K people.
Even better than mumbai, ho chi min or hanoi as i been to there. Such an underrated city , people can visit there . I dont know what happened to it as it went into crisis. I would definitely place it after bangkok in myanmmar to vietnam belt.
