Birthday Beach Outing (08/05/2023)

Nate loved the beach. The smell, the sounds, the warm sun and cool breeze. Beach days are different with a brain injury but we are making the best of it
We purchased a beach wheelchair for him last year and it was money well spent! He tolerates it so much better this year and is able to enjoy the beach for a few hours at a time.
So, of course, we took Nate to the beach for his birthday!
Sand Crabs, Sea Weed, and Tubas! Oh My!

No smile on the outside, but you know he is soaking it all up and screaming enjoyment on the inside. Nothing beats the smell of the ocean, the taste of the wind and the peaceful sound of the waves.
