- After losing real time connection with the command, LRSSG raid the autonomous state of Shilage for resources. There, they face off against Sol Squadron which ultimately turns into a dog fight between the best fighter pilots of both sides in this war; Trigger and Mihaly.

Okay when doing this mission who picked an A-10 because they thought it was just gunna be a ground mission
I ended up doing the mission in an F-22 because I spent hours grinding to sail through the story in a Raptor
I fly in My su 47 always. But i was using unguided bombs instead of qaam's and had to fight mister x with just my machine gun cuz sol sent my missiles into space

This is why I ALWAYS use multirole aircraft for missions that say it will just be “ground attack”. It will NOT be a ground attack mission.
Similar idea here, I always use a fighter aircraft but with good anti ground weaponry

@@Silverauren well there so SO many design sacrifices made in f22 for stealth so it would be kinda fucked and without the stealth Its it even beaten by a Rafale f16(2006) and even a f18 without its stealth as those fighters might not have stealth but their design makes them nightmarishly agile. f22 not caring about stealth is like artillery troting around without a shell both of them become pointless. Its like you speand entire life sacrificing friends family to study but in the end dont get to use the knowledge.

This fight in game is beautiful. Two aces brawling it out, even though Mihaly never really fought for Erusea. Mihaly fought for himself, maybe even for the rest of Sol Squadron too, but I find that unlikely. Trigger fights for what I assume is justice, even though he's practically portrayed as the literal devil. God I love Ace Combat\
It’s accurate that he’s a devil. Because there are pople who believe that the devil is actually the good guy in the Bible. Which he technically is, he has committed less acts of evil or basically none at all according to the Bible itself.
Remember that Razgriz arrives first as a great demon, before returning as a hero.
From what I can tell, Trigger is the literal incarnation of Razgriz. So this devil representation is fitting
Hmm I don’t think so, I think Trigger engages in a constant battle to his behavior, the fact he doesn’t speak, the environment he committed, around friends and enemies that find influence in their voice, commands, orders, essential information directed by talking about it, or just general conversation, the only freedom we could say he has is flying and taking down enemy aircraft, what we, the player, can only direct. Him joining the Air Force is the only thing that describe him, he is the Air Force, War is waged everywhere by voice and by violence, but I think he chose the Air Force because it’s like purgatory, cementing the belief that who he shoots down is killed and the freedom and harmony of flying. The character is us, but the belts of humanity and demons strap and brand his personality.

I'd like to see Cipher take on Mihaly, but it would be a very short video, considering Cipher's whole thing was dodging lasers and wiping out entire aerial battlefields to the point they just called him "Demon Lord" of a airspace called the "Round Table".

It is confirmed that the protagonists from every ace game use F-15
I think Trigger used the F-15 for most of 7, but for missions 1-4, he used the F-16, and for the last mission, he used the F-22.
for the starter missions trigger uses f-16, mid game he uses variations of the f-15 and for late game he uses f-22.

@@leonrussell9607 F-16 is the starting plane, so it makes sense that it would be the plane used for the first act of the campaign. There was also an in-universe article posted to aces web about the end of the lighthouse war. Though we can't see the stabilizers that well, the plane in the very front is an F-22, implying it was the plane that Trigger flew for the last stretch of the war.

I like using the ADFX with the laser because it’s such a classic plane, and the laser will absolutely destroy him when he does the straight line missile avoid maneuver thing

I like to think Trigger uses a F-22 with modded parts, especially Queen’s Custom.
The two best pilots of the war fighting each other for the last time with the two best planes around. It’s so cinematic, the battle practically writes itself.

I always choose official service aircraft in Ace Combat like the F-15 here or the Su-35. The imagery and feeling of piloting a real-world fighter actively being fielded by our world's militaries against a fictional, experimental aircraft meant to surpass it in every way is epic to me.
Something just feels right about that.

Hey once I got the f22 I stuck with it cuz those xsdb’s are amazing for ground and the f22 is the air superiority fighter I’ve tried them all but the raptor puts up the best fight against the wyvern at least for me. Now that being said my first fight wasn’t so fun cuz I was in the the f 14 I do not recommend it is painful.

Im pretty sure i saw you comment it, if so, what are your keybinds if you dont mind me asking..? because like, no matter how hard i look for a tutorial and stuff, whenever i psm, i can do like 70% of the psm before i stall out and i've literally tried psm capable aircraft and stuff and tried holding accelerate and im so lost on how to psm

What attachments do you have on your f15?
Even if that readout is in metric, there's no fucking way an F-15 can get to 1600+knots(3000kph+) without ripping itself apart, much less do cobra's.

@@harbour2118 well, it's the only one I'm comfortable with maneuvering on low speeds and PSM to redirect myself to mihaly, that was until PA released Experimental Craft set, been using F-15S/MTD from start to finish

How do you keep the camera on the target. Is it settings or manual?
Theres a button for it that fixes the camera on the target. I tend to keep it pressed since it immerses me in the dogfight...

I play it in hard, if you play it on ACE, enemy planes fly funny to avoid your missiles like doing fkn 90 degree turns while flying. Hard difficulty is the best setting to play this game. otherwise, you're going to see some laws of physics abuse in ACE./

@nyzel4489 well it is a video game, but if you want to actually hit your targets while shooting them and not seeing constant 90 degree maneuvers, hard is where it's at.
Newbie here, why your plane can do such a spike manouver like that all i can do is just G-Turn with R1+L1 button ( i use controller) can anyone lighten me how to do that too ? Its see such a pretty cool thing to do

@@rishizumi4078its just a normal g turn, but u must learn to control ur speed because ur turn radius depends on it. The nose pitch speed when g turning should be the same regardless of air speed

Ace Combat 7: a waste of a perfectly good soundtrack. The only way to enjoy this game is turn off the voice audio and the subtitles so you don't get inflicted with the brain damage of whoever wrote this bullshit.

The writing is not bad. Sure, in the IUN "chapter" the writing is not that interesting but the characters get much more fleshed out in the Spare Squadron "chapter" of the game. The interactions between convicts are hilarious and Bandog is ruthless.
But sure, maybe you don't like 50 people with dubious mental health screaming into your ears when dogfighting an enemy ace. But really thats part of the Ace Combat™ experience. Nonetheless, if you don't like the writing then turn off the voices and have a good flight pilot 👍.
You can always turn the voice volume down, dunno what's your problem to be this angry towards an arcade flight game
That maneuvering is insane... I couldn't ever fly like that, but I'm on PS4, so perhaps it's a me issue? So smooth and fast...
