Not sure that it’s better to max troop count over having quicker next tier units. 1. In wars, your hospitals are going to be filled with lower tier units. And they will slow the healing of your higher tier troops 2. Same problem when you want to farm merits. I am always sending the highest tier units to get maximum merits and fill my hospitals with high tier units
I usually use my lower tier units for merits and lose practically nothing it’s pretty time consuming to kill all of them but would only take an hour or two to clear all if you don’t have much
@@TiltedHandle ok but from my experiments you gain less merits by killing a tier 1 than killing tier 4. And the time in hospital is the same for a tier 1 and tier 4. So if you want to optimize the hospital capacity, killing the t4 is more efficient. But ofc then you cant use the troops to do something else.. a tradeoff there
How many of each (workhorses, swordsmen, ballistas) should I have at tier 1 before moving on to tier 2? Also should I have 0 vestals at teir 1 or just a a little over 100?
Thanks for this! My legion capacity keeps growing but I can't seem to keep up with it. I will start training lower tier troops until filled and then start upgrading them. I look forward to future videos!
Theres no time difference in upgrading the tier of troops and train new. Because in upgrading 2hrs training t2 and 2hrs upgrading them to t3 so total 4hrs for t3 its same as new t3 troops 4 hrs !!!!!!!
You missed the point here. You actualy GET the troops, that's the point. By training tier 2 troops you use the troops for more value across your account and then you lose NO resources or time as you mentioned.
Well if you train a tier 2 unit and then evolve to tier 3 it will take the same amount of time, so its better to just go with tier 3, although I agree to hit the cap of units.
It’s the same shit lol. If you train T2 and then promote to T3 you are still training the same total amount of time as if you were training T3 outright. Just a more roundabout method. You might save a little bit of resources probably in mana but otherwise it’s the same training time, just in promoting you split the time in half when training initial T2 and then the other half when promoting to T3, whereas T3 is the total amount in one go
That last point is EXACTLY why. You can use your units sooner. For example let's say training 100k mages takes 10 days (just for an example) well then by 5 days you'd have 50k mages. But if you train T2, you might have 70-80k mages, so for those days you'll be able to use them sooner.

@@bilalsultan769 I mean heading into battle with my t1 not attacking
Love the video. But you're wrong about the points on strongest lord. It gives you points based off the difference
Good content. I dont see people making videos like this
Appreciate it! That's one of the reasons I made it because a few weeks ago I asked this same question, haha.

I upgrade units for strongest lord other than that I think training will always be better

MY FAVORITE DI RUclipsR JS PLAYING THIS GAME OMG
Haha you know it :)
Does infantry 1 and infantry protection 1 make tier 2+ soldiers stronger or just for tier 1 soldiers? Nice content btw!

Yes, but you get to use the units sooner, so just spam out t2 then upgrade to t3 during downtome
