  • Want to develop more strength and back muscle from pull ups? Most people roll the shoulders forward when they do pull-ups which leads to no gains. These are some simple hacks to get more back muscle activity in your pull ups for proper form and more gains.

Here are some tips to get more back muscle activity in your pull-ups for more gains: use isometric holds, a neutral hand grip, and add a little bit of load or weight to your pull-ups. By using these three methods, you can transform your pull-ups, develop true upper body strength and great posture. Remember to let go of your ego, do fewer reps, and focus on proper form.

Yes please a full length video! My shoulders hurt whenever I try scapular pull up holds. Feeling like it's got something to do with my shoulder mobility and overall posture. Which is frustrating because I know my body could do so much more! Thank you for this informative short❤️

Yes, still struggling with pulls, chin ups are no problem. Doing lots of ring rows to get stronger, but would like to see more pull up progress. Video please!

I’d recommend supplementing reverse curls to strengthen the brachial radialis muscle. At lot of the time that is the weak muscle if you find yourself being unable to do pull-ups but can do chin ups.

❤ I love to see a full length video! Perhaps even a regression, for those who are still struggling to get their first pull up. (That would be me) I have started doing negatives with bands for assistance to increase muscle time under tension, and I have seen very good results, so hopefully soon… Many quality pull ups!

I'm very glad I came across this early, I just got a pullup bar a few days ago and now i realize i wasn't pulling my shoulder back at all, im not even sure why as all other back excercises do that, I think i have a genetically good back so pulling my shoulders back actually increased how many pullups i could do by 1
