Can you do a Boys nursery and give suggestions of different ideas as I'm really struggling to find any style I like they all look cute but very simple while the girls rooms are waaayy more detailed. I'm trying to find one that's abit different but not too hard to accomplish any suggestions?? Oo
Pixie Sanchez I personally never looked at gendered designs with my kids. If I liked something I did it, regardless of if it was originally meant for a girl or a boy. If there's elements in girls' room designs that you enjoy then do it. Your baby boy will never notice the difference and will love it either way. You can adjust the colours slightly if you like. Good luck designing :)

That would make an amazing idea for a video- how to make one room work for two people, with two different aesthetics, each having their own space, and without looking like a sitcom were they split the room in half with tape.

Beautiful work! I have a 2 year old daughter and I diy’ed her nursery before she was born making tons of different things, including a mobile. I used an embroidery hoop, fishing line, pearl beads, and ombré paper hearts! 💕

I don't have kids myself but I have a nephew and two nieces that are under 9 years old. I love this idea I would absolutely love to see more original ideas for children's rooms boys style girl style
I love the mural! It's wonderful decoration for a nursery. I kind of think that the mobile is almost a little too much of the same thing. However, I can't think of anything else to put up! I agree with the other commenters, that more ideas for kids rooms and pre-adolescent kids rooms would be fantastic.
Babies can only see in black and white for the first several months. Usually 3 or 4 months up to 6. In the future you may wish to use darker flowers for a higher contrast so its easier to be seen.

Did a fresco mural for a friend who expected a baby. Same, braches, leaves and flowers. I did hide painted little ladybirds, butterflies and caterpillars between all so when the baby would turn into a toddler there would be more to see. The mobile was a little bear hanging onto balloons of light wood painted in soft colours. Had a lot of fun making it. Remember the red riding hood mural in my sister and my room. Not very child friendly as we were dead scared for the wolve. Made sure no creepy things were in my mural.

Such a lovely idea! Plus it's something the child can grow with for many years. Great job. Just a thought, I would have added shading to each white branch. I did a cherry blossom branches mural once and the shading really made it pop and gave it more texture and interest.👌🏾
You could also put smaller circles of the flower pattern inside the bigger circle to make the flowers more fuller

I have a son that is 15 months old. We didn't get to do the decorating of his nursery it felt so thrown together so when he turns 1 ½ we will be doing a whole big boy room for him that he can hopefully enjoy even as he growns and forms his own personal style.

My living room, bathroom and master are celestial and my toddler's room is space themed (mixed with disney and harry potter). Any DIYs you've got to share is absolutely the most appreciated! I'm a mother and I'm very interested in DIYs for my little one. Recently made my own DIY helper tower (that was an adventure, ikea doesn't sell same sizes depending on the countries..... !!! Since I was inspired by a German DIY but I live in France... well it was funny and longer to make than predicted lol) . If you have the possibility to do a little more DIYs for children, it would be great.
