- Captain America finally got buffed!! His change makes him a really interesting inclusion in a Cerebro 2 deck where he can make Cerebro, Mystique, and Iron Man into threats of their own.

Power Estimate: This deck had a great run for me through the first 10 games, but C2 as an archetype has historically proven to be too predictable and low-powered to make a big splash in the meta. We'll need a lot more data with this deck to see if the new Captain America or Iron Man can give it the extra power it needs to compete with the meta at large.

After watching it again I'm pretty sure Regis still made the best play. The other option was just playing 5 power left, which leaves you way more susceptible to any play that isn't just red hulk mid. And you beat the red mid hulk anyway so why take the risk
I'm almost positive no matter what he played he was getting 5 in both spots. Either way it was a win, but i think shadow king was more destructive of a play for sure. Can't think of a single card that would have changed that outcome.
I'm surprised they limited the effect to other ongoing cards. Definitely a big brained move to put it in c2! Could be neat in a tribunal deck with onslaught too

The spectrum ongoing deck could get good value with him too especially in the onslaught lane or maybe even living tribunal builds could make him work. I just think the effect does not fit the actual character of Captain America and wanted a complete rework but this feels better then where he was before the update.
Cap will allow Shang Chi to bust the Living Tribunal if he gets the buff from Cap.
@@ttr5733like they said, they can't get too tricksy with his gameplay to appease the meta, because of his position as a core starter card. He's got to be simple, and inline with the clevel he's meant for primary use in.
the first game ilustrates perfectly why red hulk isnt the powerhouse people think it is
it scaled 4 out of the 7 turns and had 25 power, and still even with that the play pattern is 100% readable, regis knew exactly where he would be dropped and how much power he had, at that point, the cubes were in regis hands, and the worst part is, the oponent only know the outcome aftert hey commit to the turn, making the cube loss very stingy
i'm not saying the card is bad, i'm saying he isnt nowhere near the power level most of the playerbase seems to think he is... he is usable in some decks where your last turn play isnt completely readable and a big stat drop on 6 is useful, something like silky smoove, and this first game portraits that to perfection

I thought I was smart thinking of this idea, but wow was this deck surprisingly effective.
I had a few different cards and would recommend echo instead of iceman as well as goose instead of blue marvel.

I got to Infinite this season running a nearly identical list but with Nico Minoru instead of Iceman. The draw 2 can be really powerful off of Mister Sinister or Brood since you'll draw your entire deck by turn 7. +2 power and Copy can also be good, and even the move right ability and random location ability can come in handy.
Obviously Iceman curves out a bit more consistently, but it's been a blast running Nico. 😊

The problem I have with this deck is fishing for the cards that I need. Good idea but I like decks that have multiple ways of winning instead of depending on Cerebro. That card is a huge target
I always want Cerebro decks to work but they rarely hit to where they can hang with the meta. Unfortunately this ones no different
Magik could also be useful in the deck just because so many locations wreck cerebro and she can turn them off.
Enchantress is everywhere rn tho to counter tribunal
I strongly believe that Grandmaster has a huge chance to shine on this deck. In the worst scenario you can use it on iceman but still huge

damn.. I mean their a really good series 3 card if you havent claimed your free s3 card yet but tehre are also some better ones. That being said just plug any other 2 power card that isnt ongoing like elektra (provally recomonded as that she actually has good synergy with White Widow hitting a 1 cost and white widow bite now becoems -4)
If you have a lot of Cerebro 5 pieces, that one can work. Usually people don't run Mystique in C5 since it's just not really necessary.

Regis is being nice here but ads are how he gets paid. Ads in a free service is a small price to pay, definition of a 1st world problem. I guess if you're paying adblock, you can complain if they don't block everything, but you can also just pay YT a bit and get no ads if they really bother you that much.
@@jessierolan the thing is that ad companies base how much their ads contribute to how many people go to their website etc. after watching an ad. So if youtube stops ad block from working the ads will just start paying less and the amount of revenue that regis gets will stay the same. This is because the people who use ad block (like me) are the type of people who never click on ads, which if forced to watch ads dramatically reduces the conversion rate for the company putting out ads. And it’s actually illegal in all of Europe to not allow people to choose whether or not they use an ad blocker, and should be protected in america as well. I don’t usually complain though, but when I want to watch one of my favorite content creators who I support by watching all of their videos (and occasionally commenting to boost their videos in the algorithms boosting their ads to people who will actually view and click on them) and I have to wait over 3 minutes to watch because I have a 2 minute 45 second unskippable ad into another 30 second unskippable ad it is frustrating bc it’s just wasting my time, and this happens sometimes on like 3 minute long songs where there’s more ad then music. I’m lucky I got a lot of content afterwards because regis makes long videos but this happens in videos that are much shorter as well.
It’s like ads in google, they only pay for the conversions and people who actually click on the advertisement, so people get adblock because they won’t click on them anyways and they are annoying to deal with.
Sure, it’s a first world problem. But I’m also just saying that it’s annoying and I don’t like it? Like what does that add to the conversation? Are there bigger issues and problems in the world, yes. I know that, I’m not dumb. But that doesn’t mean other problems don’t exist and people can’t complain about them.

i would not say its a buff, they shoukd have left out the ongoing cards buff, instead buff every card. This is just a different version of what was before

Negasonic has been good, as has Majik. I even gave M’baku a whirl and he has jumped out to win a lane a couple of time now.

Today I tried this deck. I lost nearly 80% of games due to locations or counter by opponent. I guess I'm just bad at this game.

Even with Storm and Magic, there are too many locations that screw over Cerebro. Not only that, but I figured I'd give it a try and my FIRST opponent had Enchantress. I haven't seen an Enchantress in over a month. To hell with Marvel Snap and it's shit match making. (I'm not angry... YOU'RE angry!) 😋
