PART 2 - • Tim and Pete's Guitar ...
PART 3 - • Tim and Pete's Guitar ...
Here's a new Tim and Pete episode with the legendary Eddie Kramer.
Eddie engineered every Jimi Hendrix record, lots of Zeppelin, and other greats too numerous to mention...
Be sure and watch all three to catch the cool gear section with Eddie's new delay, by F-Pedals. It's a very analog sounding little beast!
Hope you enjoy,
THANKS!
Tim

Like finding a 50 year old diary of behind the scenes rock recording and realizing "The Great Oz" is really Eddie Kramer.
This show keeps getting even better every episode!
This guy is the BOMB! Along with Sir George Martin, these are likely my 2 favorite studio mixing, mastering, recording persons extant. Their individual bodies of work boggle the mind. It's gratifying to see that Martin's son is taking the reins for his dad. Tom Dowd (RIP) was another similar individual whose work was stellar.
Thank you for a great conversation with Mr Kramer. His influence on the music that is dear to my heart changed my life at a very young age. Long live Eddie Kramer.
I met and worked with Eddie 18 years ago in San Francisco, and it was a great time. At that time he looked the same as he does in this video. He must be 75 years old and still mentally sharp as a razor.
You guys would be surprised if you knew how much we look forward to these videos. Love you guys.
This is brilliantly fascinating guys. Wow, what an interview.
Great show!!!
Great video! When i think of hendrix music (being ahead time) Is when chas Chandler left jimi in studio, during electric landlady. In the studio all by himself , jimi created 15 minute epic (1983 a merman i should turn to be) thrown twenty years into future. Youre underwater, looking up sitting on bottom of ocean floor.
Wow .... fantastic .... and that's just reaction to the title of parts 1,2 & 3 .... now to watch them .... awesome
I did a Paul Rodgers record with Eddie. He's certainly a character!

Please have Mateus Asato on the next episode. Or Gregory Kochery from the wildwood lair.
Called it haha!
The label "legend" gets often overused these days. I think it applies to Eddie Kramer though...
Oh for sure. He is the type of person that word is in existence for. He was integral in Hendrixs records
@@bnasty5614 Plus Zeppelin 2, TSRTS movie, Zepp Physical Grafitti, Beatles, Stones, Kiss, Santana
hey this video is too short.. I know there was more... where is it? ..
pls Dan Huff Steve Lukather and Mike Landau
I doubt I'll get an answer but please don't take this as a flame. It's just what seems an inconsistency that puzzles me given Eddie's obvious dedication to creative sound. Eddie tells a story that he grew tired of Jimi Hendrix seeking "the underwater sound" so he apparently put a speaker in a bucket of water to show him how bad it sounded. I can't imagine Eddie not getting the allusion to liquid sound rather than an actual underwater guitar. Oddly I think he sometimes got close as in parts of 1983..A Merman I Shall Turn to Be" but why would he attempt to crush such a compelling "dream" of Jimi's?
lot of small amplifiers being used......
This the guy who suggested the 12 string on Stairway To Heaven, though Page, of course, gives him no credit.
