Very helpful. I am still having trouble keeping the left hand needle threaded, but I learned so much more than the manual showed. I feel like my brain just got larger with all my new knowledge of my 29-year-old machine!
I am an experienced sewist, but have never used a serger before. I bought my Bernina some months ago and have done very little with it as my first trials were not very successful (and then summer came and who wants to be inside sewing when it's nice out! ;-) . Your videos are SO much better than the manual and I look forward to watching your whole Bernina series. Thank you!!!
Please take notice‼️ -Always disconnect the power before you start any of these actions. Always, even if you live alone, without kids or animals. It’s rule no 1 in any manual. Thanks for this video! My problem was solved with a drop of oil, at the two oiling points! Never underestimate what a drop of oil can solve.. ☺️ Now the seam sews steady, without jarring the seam just after a few seconds.
Your local Bernina store can get you the foot control and power cord. Here is the link to the Bernina 1100D manual: www.bernina.com/bernina/media/Support/Sewing_Quilting_Embroidery/Out_of_Print_Manuals/BERNINA-1100D_1100DA-Manual.pdf
