Same here. Didn't get almost 90% of it. But learnt more in this 1.5 hrs than my 5 years of experience. And the best thing is I felt better watching this than my favourite anime.
Its a lot more than that, if you look at it from a different perspective, see, you are so proficient in your skill sets that you are going outside your comfort zone and making a software better than it used to be, how great is that, not only it showcases your skills it also solidifies you as a positive contributor to the software engineering community.
I'm 2024 passout and working as a Remote Mobile engineer in London. The pay is comparatively good for Indian jobs but less for a UK based company. Anyways I don't care much right now as I'm Fresher too. I know I can make a 10X jump in the upcoming year.
Harkirat is one of the best serious RUclipsrs here, and whenever he posts, there is no cringe in it. Almost all of RUclips is full of cringe nowadays. I always enjoy and get motivated while watching his videos. He's the GOAT in the tech category. What are your thoughts folks?
exactly harkirat singh , striver aur haanji chai aur code ko kaise bhul jaye (hitesh chaudhary) are no nonsense youtubers and are stack overflow for us like it is to them.
Good stuff Harkirat! I think the the most pertaining topic at this point after the roadmap to getting into remote companies, would be to make sure you are consistent with the tailored innovation or a specific solution you offered to the company that sought to get you the job. Slightest of realisation to the recruiter that you're not worth your salary, or maybe they misjudged your brilliance and you're out without a severance.
Wow, this is actual good quality content for which I am even willing to pay for. Great job. This is the first time I have come across your channel. Loved the video!!
This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much, Harkirat, for making this video. You are the only person whose videos I get excited about. I've been following you for a long time. You are amazing. Please continue making this content; it really helps us a lot.
There is also CRDTs which help solving the conflict resolution in collaboration editor and there are lots of libraries available. One in js in yjs. It's decentralised and doesn't require a server and works offline too.
Hi Harkirat. Your expertise in this field is awesome. It seems that you have gone through lot of learning and exploration. Could you please make a video on how to learn a particular technology and build expertise. What strategy one should follow to learn?
Hi Harkirat, can you please give a Remote job roadmap for Data analytics or Data Scientist role. I'm following ur video for log time, but all ur video focused on developers. Can you pls consider this one ?
Please also do a similar video for experienced senior engineers. I am already earning $170k working for a big tech company in India, so looking for something around $300k or more.
How about thinking from the POV of maybe a student at 3rd year of his engineering or last, considering his experience of work, would you follow the same process or it can change. What I am asking let say person has only done one internship that too in some XYZ startup, should he consider the same steps
Being in the same shoes as yours, I think this is the best way forward. there's no too much you can do when you're starting off. One internship must bring in good level of experience. I don't think you have much to worry about
I graduated from 12th grade four years ago. I was supposed to be preparing for NEET, but to be honest, I was just passing time. Now, I'm starting to develop an interest in languages. I'd like to know if I can get a good job if I start learning languages now with full consistency.
Hi, currently I'm learning to code, but I'm stuck with understanding how things work under the hood. The main issue I faced was that I couldn't understand the functionality of the code I had written. I jumped straight into the development part. My question is whether I need to learn data structures and algorithms first or focus on development first.
hey bro, I'm in First year and after seeing your videos I'm thinking to prepare for remote jobs of other country companies My mains doubt is how do get paid ,like in the Indian Bank account or you use other ways
Hi pls make a video on blockchain and if we should choose it as a career option now, in the age of AI and Data? and why do FAANG companies not hire blockchain devs ?
Hey, It's a pretty dumb question but I didn't understand how can I dive into a company that is open source? Like, if all their code is on github how could they make money? Why would I invest in a company that can be cloned or something like this?
