That Saints non pass interference call had me LIVID when I watched it live, and I’m a Browns fan. I can’t even imagine the RAGE Saints fans must have felt. Totally unacceptable when it’s THAT obvious.
No bottle gate? Because that was one of the worst ref mistakes in history. They reviewed a play from two plays before and took the ball away from Cleveland, then tried to prematurely end the game. It was absolutely awful.
As a Saints fan I am still pissed to this day about that no call. There needs to be accountability on the league and these referees with these horrific calls.
They did send that NBA ref to prison for "Fixing Games". Why not have the Police/Sheriff/Law Enforcement at the various games, for reasons other than crowd control? Have the LEO talk to the refs/umpires BEFORE each game, inform the refs,"We'll be reviewing every call, after the game. If we notice any impropriety, i your crews officiating, we will charge you. arrest you, incarcerate you. Just a word of warning folks. Fixing sporting events is ILLEGAL. Now let's have a cleanly called, honestly officiated game." Of course if a DC, State politician lost a large sum of money due to a bad call, there'd be wall to wall, Congressional hearings. IMO. Have you ever noticed the "Spread" on football games, is almost perfect, every week? The upsets do come, but they're very few, in the total amount of games.
I’m surprised the infamous beer bottle game didn’t make the list, where the refs reviewed a play from TWO PLAY AGO (which is not reviewable since another play had happened) and changed a call. The entire audience started throwing beer bottles at the refs.
It seems they really want to just talk trash about the refs and act like the fans are saints who deserve no wrong. Sometimes the fans cause the problem.
I feel like the Myles Jack call is an interesting one, because it's not just about a bad call but also some larger questions about how to handle situations like that. I feel like what it comes down to is, if there's two possible outcomes, one is reversible and the other isn't, and the referees are anything but certain of the call in the moment, they should ALWAYS err on the side of the reversible call, which in this case would be not blowing the play dead. I know that's not a perfect solution either because of the ambiguous replay rules (specifically that they favor the original call), but there's just such an imbalance of possible outomes in these kinds of cases that it feels like that needs to be taken into major consideration in making those calls.
Unfortunately, it takes a well disciplined official to not blow the whistle in a situation like that. An instance of the officials blowing the whistle early on a play happens almost once for every game and I'm sure everyone remembers a time where their team got the short end of the stick because of it.
@@mickyrourke2890 It shouldn't have come down to that situation anyway. In the third quarter, the Jaguars got away with a blatant pass interference that would have changed the course of the game.
Don’t forget that the referee can let the play go to its natural conclusion and then come back and say “the ruling on the field is that the player was down by contact” and THEN they can go to review. If review shows the players wasn’t down by contact they can then allow the entire touchdown run to be allowed since they never whistled the play dead on the field.
I think “indirectly” would be more appropriate to say. A lot of those, TB12 still had to score or do something else to win after the call. They indirectly helped him by giving him another opportunity to potentially score and win. But they didn’t directly result in the game being over and done
That's why I have no respect for their so-called dynasty. More often than not, I watched Brady get help from the officials. No other team's dynasties have so many bad calls go in their favor.
The roughing the passer penalty wasn't really what costed the Chiefs a Super Bowl appearance It was Dee Ford's offside penalty when the Chiefs picked off Brady (with the lead)
For all of these worst call throughout NFL history, why aren't the referees being held accountable for in today's game? The NOLA No Call should've have been the final straw
Problem is, the league defends ref screwups to the point of pure insanity. Look at the rules for making a catch now; that entire multi-paragraph section that requires zoom ins and watching the motions of the ball exists SOLELY because the refs botched a Calvin Johnson catch. You see it in other sports, too; the refs screw up and rather than punishing the refs, the league makes up complicated rules to cover the situation, because apparently that's better than admitting your guy blew it.
People who aren’t Saint fans will never truly understand the pain of the “Nola No Call” that 2018 Saints team was the best and most complete team we’ve ever had even better than ‘09 and 11’ teams….the year we won the super bowl in 09’ we averaged 31 points a game, and lost 3 games to DAL, CAR, & TB the year we got robbed 18’ we averaged 31 points a game and lost to the same 3 teams DAL,CAR, & TB….think about that for a second!!! To make things worse Brees legacy was changed forever I truly believe if we didn’t get robbed we would’ve destroyed that Patriots team and than what would Brees legacy be with 2 SB victories over Peyton & Brady???? It’s sad the refs robbed us like that it’s a pain that never fades! 💔
Thank you! No one ever talks about Jerry dropping that ball on 3rd down.. I'll never forget it, because even at the time myself and 2 of the most die hard Packer fans knew they wasn't gonna take that catch away from the goat... Especially he was setting some kinda streak for catches
The NOLA No Call is the worst. The game was OVER. That was the most obvious possible PI to call, there was no reason for a flag not to be thrown, its undebatable, he didnt even look at the ball. The Saints either run it down and kick a chip shot field goal, or run it down and score a TD, both scenarios, the Rams have 30 or less seconds left to drive down the field and tie it with Jared Goff as QB.
@Potato Joe they gave him the most awful rtp calls at the worst times in the game, and did it multiple times. The most egregious was against the Vikings, where he made a clean waist line tackle of Kirk Cousins that gave the Packers an interception that would’ve won the Packers the game. But no, they called roughing on him, the Vikings scored a touchdown, and the game ended in a tie (the Vikings choked on two separate field goal attempts). Then again, that whole second half was the Vikings getting saved by the refs, just not as obvious as that play.
A small handful of egregious calls/missed calls over like a 20-25 year span, so not very rigged at all. Refs are human beings who make mistakes, especially in a game so fast paced. It's easy to sit there and pick apart film frame by frame and say that refs fucked up. Maybe go out and try to do their job any better before being so overly critical of the job they did.
@@lalitovice33 1) 2005 Divisional playoffs against Denver. Awful PI call on Asante Samuel gave the Broncos their first touchdown. Then, they got another touchdown when the refs incorrectly ruled that Champ Bailey had fumbled at the one, instead of giving NE the touchback. 2) 2006 AFC Championships game. Bad OPI call on Troy Brown stopped a game clinching drive when it was 21-3 in the second quarter. Then, a phantom PI on Ellis Hobbs gave Indy another score in the second half. Then, the officials missed a blatant PI on the Colts in the fourth quarter. 3) 2007 Super Bowl. Uncalled holding on the Tyre catch. 4) 2015. That atrocious regular season game against Denver with so many bad calls to give Denver the win and homefield advantage 5) 2017 Super Bowl. Blatant illegal contact not called on the Eagles on the last play.
It was a dumb rule. But the rule was properly enforced. It read "any intentional forward motion" and no one can dispute that there was intentional forward motion.
Yep,the nfl wanted the rams in the Super Bowl to get them support in LA since they had just moved there & attendance wasn’t what they thought it should be.no doubt in my mind that the refs were told that if it came down to the wire to make all calls in rams favor
The refs hate us lions fans like when we played the cowboys recently they ain’t even review diggs int even tho he had no possession and they review every interception
Yeah, I was wondering where that one was; the one where they gave Aaron Rodgers multiple chances at a last minute Hail Mary. He missed the first try, so "facemask" on the pash rusher and Rodgers got a do-over.
@@carsonleslie2984 Jesse James lost possession of the ball after hitting the ground so the pass is incomplete since he did not complete the catch during the process of the catch.
That Hail Mary for Seattle might be the worst. When they went to the ground the receiver didn’t even have both hands on the ball at all he had one arm stuck in the defenders arms and that’s it
I've always considered Bill Vinovich to be the worst NFL ref. I can't stand him as a ref and he was the guy involved with the 2018 no call against the Saints.
The heads/tails call was the correct call. NFL network did a show where they took out the crowd noise and you can clearly hear Bettis change his call while the coin is mid flight. He starts to say heads but then flips to tails. Phil Luckett mad the correct call and this shouldn’t be on the list.
Been a Raider fan my whole life and am still pissed off about the tuck rule call. After Reggie Bush got signed to the Saints I started following the Saints more closely as my "NFC team" and I was absolutely livid at the non PI call. I sure know how to pick teams, I guess. LOL
The Tuck Rule wasn't "previously unknown", it happened earlier the same season and actually went against the Patriots (first game against the Jets). If you dig up highlights of that Pats/Jets game, you'll see it plays out exactly the same - what looks for all the world like an abandoned throwing motion and fumble was called an incomplete pass. Blame the rulebook on that one, the refs got it right.
@Silver Fox Sports bro are you blind he had control the whole way through the ball moved when he went to reach over the goal line, Jesse James would suffer the same fate as Dez in the AFC divisional round (I forgot what year).
So, here’s the thing…it’s a good call, and that sucks. I’m a Packer fan, and I’m saying Dez caught the ball. Please keep that in mind. The way the rule of possession was written at the time, it was the correct application of the rule, making the catch not a catch. So what I’m saying is that common sense says that Dez caught the ball. The rule, at the time, said that it wasn’t a catch. Therefore, the rule legislated common sense out of the play, and that’s the ridiculous part.
How do you not mention any of the horrendous Ed Hocculi calls that went against San Diego? He made so many bad calls that the NFL wouldn't let him officiate a Chargers home game for multiple seasons after that for fear of his personal safety.
Both 2018 Championship games had me furious and I'm a Seahawks fans if the Saints beat the Rams I believe they would've won the Super Bowl they were the best team in 2018 (no offense to the rams or chiefs) and because of both games we got the most boring Super Bowl of all time I remember watching that Super Bowl in silence for 4 quarters and when the game was over I said, "well that sucked" and I turned off the TV and walked away Thanks refs
@@goldenstatewarriors9418 the moment was to big for Goff, one could argue that Super Bowl was lost cause of him. He took some bad sacks and threw balls off timing. There was even one to cooks out the back of the end zone that got knocked out cause it was late. Not a Brady fan in the slightest but everyone knows if you give him enough chances 99/100 times he’ll eventually get it done.
like most coward NFL channels the fact that a play was reversed after another play was run gets never talked about because it lead to one of the ugliest stains on the NFL but its cool.
I am of the opinion, NFL, NBA, MLB, are like Pro Wrestling, are Exhibitions, NOT, true competitions. The ONE difference being Pro Wrestling has BETTER officiating. If any one ever read the book, the NBA ref, who was incarcerated for "Fixing Games", you'll remember, he said, he wasn't the only ref involved. That the NBA Champion was predetermined, BEFORE the season started. I was a rabid sports fan until 1979, when I watched the Steelers/Oilers game mentioned in this video. The entire nation saw it was a TD. The longer I watched, after that, I noticed SO many bad calls in all pro sports, I gradually decided that the games, regardless of the sport (except Golf) were fixed. Don't get me going on the NCAA Basketball Tournament, or their Football "Play Off" (they could've invited the TOP 16 teams & had the entire thing over in a month. All the other NCAA Football Divisions have a Play Off system, why not their Top Division?) ANY time there is as much $$$ involved as there is now, corruption, cheating, fixed games, etc, are bound to happen.) I have watched 1 Super Bowl since the year the Saints won, that was when the NFL allowed the KC Chiefs to win.Haven't watched the World Series since 2005, haven't watched the NBA Playoffs or Championship , since the year both Boston (who I never liked) & OKC were both, obviously HOSED so Miami (read LeBron) CHeat, could win a Championship. I agree the Patriot dynasty was a complete set up, as well. I only watch highlights of the NFL,if I watch at all. Very sad, IMO.
@@georgejohnson8674 No, no he didn't. It was actually after a shanked punt (that shouldn't have happened, as not only was that a bullshit non-call but Dez should have been penalized for running onto the field with his helmet off to scream at the refs) followed by one of the most blatant "ref helps a team score" sequences I've seen in all of football (the Lions got THREE stops and each one was negated by a "defensive holding" or "defensive interference" penalty), and then Stafford fumbled trying to rapidly march down the field to score.
Charles Woodson stripped the ball out of Brady's hands. Greg Biekert recovered it. With 1:50 left to play the Raiders could easily run out the clock. It was called a fumble so the refs had to have irrefutable evidence to overturn the call. So the refs huddled up and came up with the worst BS call ever. It wasn't really a surprise because Rice and Brown were held on every play and the refs would not call it. It was 100% biased play calling from beginning to end. If you watch carefully you will see bad calls over and over in playoff games. If they call games fairly it is sport. If the NFL picks winners and losers it is a show... Like professional wrestling.
You're right. There was no irrefutable evidence to reverse that call. In fact, if you clearly look at the video carefully and objectively, evidence showed that the original call of fumble was correct. The Tuck Rule did NOT apply because Brady had ALREADY brought the ball back to his and had BOTH hands on the football BEFORE Woodson hitting him and knocking the ball loose. Fumble. The Raiders were robbed.
The Dez play and the Tuck rule weren’t bad calls by the refs. They were plays that were reviewed and overturned because of the rules. The refs never made those actual calls. At the time Dez’s catch was technically incomplete according to the rules and the Tuck rule was applied correctly during the Pats/Raiders game. I don’t know why people always blame the officials cause those calls were overturned according to the rules that were in place at the time. I feel bad for those refs cause it wasn’t their decision to overturn anything.
Another flag that was not thrown, in the 2020 AFC championship against the Browns there was a helmet to helmet that should’ve been called it made a touchdown not count and the Browns would later loose by 5
Not to demean your post, but the Raiders in the 70s and 80s admitted to cheating and dared the officials to catch them at it. I think the bias against them stems from this bit of stupidity in NFL history.
That loss basically ended the Seahawks playoffs chances that season that later got HC Dennis Erickson fired. But… some guy named Mike Holmgren was hired to become their next HC
Im surprised that the hasselback low block wasn't on this list, that was such a bad call to cap how bias the refs were against the seahawks, not to mention it was in the superbowl...
They called everything tight against the Seahawks and let the Steelers get away with a lot regarding the same type of call. This includes Offensive pass interference, Holding, and Low blocks. There were clear penalties the Steelers committed on their long touchdowns that were uncalled despite being more egregious compared to penalties called against the Hawks for the same thing. Ben threw a low block on the trick play WR TD pass and there was holding and two blocks in the back on the long 75 TD run.
Myles Jack was down by contact, the tuck rules on Brady, Deion Sandees against the Cowboys and Dez Bryant catch were correct calls at the time I might disagree with them but they were the right calls
Right? When the creator obviously states how the rules were changed the following season, one would think you'd actually question the integrity of the video you're about to post. Hell, even a change to the name of the video would have gone a long way to correct this blunder of content.
6:41 I think they didn't call that because Deion was looking back for the ball. They usually call it when the DB just shields the receiver without looking back
The Chris Jones RTP call was terrible...... However, it should be noted that Edelman was clearly interfered with on the same play, roughly 15 yards down field. So proper officiating would have ended up with the same result.
I have felt the pain of Viking fans for 40 plus years on that horrible "fixed(?)" call that went in favor of the NFLs newly christened "Americas Team". The NFL tried to sweep that one under the rug (don't see it replayed very often, really), it seems. Oh, and a flag was thrown, too ... and the refs called DEFENSIVE pass interference! I was elementary school age at the time and it was my first true WTF, watching pro sports moment?!
I was at that game, on the 40 yd line, first base side. Prior to that play, Dallas had 4th and 16yds at the 36 Dallas. The next play was in front of me. Nate Wright was called for pushing the receiver, Pearson maybe. out of bound. Pass was called complete, first down. The pass wasn't catchable in bound. Number 40 was the official. Later it was said a bad call so there were two in a row.
I'm surprised the Shaun King to Bert Emanuel pass wasn't mentioned. Emanuel had his hands under the ball, but part of the ball was touching the ground. According to the rules at the time, the refs correctly called the pass incomplete. This led the NFL to change the rule that offseason, saying that if the receiver has control of the ball the pass is complete, even if it touches the ground. This occurred in the 1999 NFC Championship Game.
The NO CALL with the Saints and Rams is the absolute worst. Especially because nobody was held accountable and the PI review after was just to appease people. It was like getting stitches after the cut healed. What was the point?
The tuck rule was NOT refreee mistake , it was a horrible rule, important difference. But you cannot blame a ref for calling the rules in the rulebook. Do some research, there was more then that one tuck rule call that season
The no call will go down in history along with "the god hand" (soccer), "the crease skate", "the high stick" (both NHL), "the elbow" (NBA), and anything Angel Hernandez does (MLB) as one of the worst calls in sports history.
2001 Jacksonville vs Browns. Browns pass on 4th and 2 with 1 minute left. The ball is caught. The Browns hurry up and the quarterback pump fakes then grounds the ball, that is intentional grounding. Refs go to review the intentional grounding call and come back with...incomplete pass on the previous play! Wait what? Yup they claim the review booth buzzed them before the play but the refs missed it, so they went back to review two plays prior. The fans got pissed and started going ballistic, so the refs just decided to end the game with 38 seconds left. They just decided to end it. The NFL had to tell them 20 minutes later that they can't do that and to get the teams back out and finish the game. I think that mess qualifies as the worst ref call in NFL history.
no the injury caused by a ref to Orlando Brown was the worst ref action in history. That cost a player his job and eventually his life. Could the ref be charged with manslaughter?
@@jackofallgamesTV Are you saying the ref gave him diabetes? Cause that's what he died of, so pretty sure manslaughter is out. Also that was just an accident, ref threw a flag on the play and Brown was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It sucks but that is life. Brown did get $25 MILLION and got to play 3 more seasons. So pretty sure you're making a bigger deal about this than should be.
@@jasonmohn1472 sorry, I should have put my .) to indicate it was mostly joking. But seriously it was a fluke accident, mean it not caused by carelessness, aka gross neglegence. It could have happened with any ref and any player. Also the long time it took for Brown to die made it not direct enough to be manslaughter. Diabetes plus the long term eye injury combined to kill him. But he did rob him of his livelihood. But that's what NFL insurance is for. At worst legally, if a player safety procedure to not throw in the general direction of a player was in place, it could have been gross negligent injurious behavior. (assault is not the right term because that would imply intent in aiming for the eye.). But it was a windy day, so the range is longer. An unfortunate incident.
Refs went on strike in 2012 and still haven't gone back to doing their jobs 10 years later... It's crazy, if you combine SpyGate, DeflateGate, the Tuck Rule, one or two bad calls in AFC Championship games, and that time the Seahawks threw the Super Bowl, you realize that Tom Brady didn't deserve like, 4 of his Super Bowl rings.
I feel like the whichever refs who missed the call and whoever is the crew chief should be suspended and if it’s more that twice of a miss call they should be fired. Just my opinion
Browns fan here, responding to all the why was Bottlegate NOT mentioned? I am not as bothered about "Bottlegate" because the CORRECT call was made (even though, it figures it had to be changed-- technically improperly -- against the 'cursed' Browns...). Quincy Morgan did NOT make the catch for a first down. anyways I was surprised to see the Renfro bad, non-catch call go in the favor of the hated Steelers (again Browns fan here), but, not the Drew Pearson pushoff on the Vikings (was it Krauss or Bryant?) in the playoffs -- AND That was actually called a PI on the Defense! Mind boggling! Fix!? It was the first WTF moment by the NFL in my young watching pro sports life. But, that PI call seemed to fade into the misery of Minnesota fans as Cowboys became "America's Team" with Navy boy Roger Staubach at the helm.
Yes, the Fail Mary was a very questionable and highly debatable bad call. What also needs to be evaluated were the calls/non calls in this game not just the game deciding TD/INT call. On the previous GB possession on a failed third down play, which would have ended in a punt, Kam Chancellor got flagged for pass interference. Watching the replay shows a well timed pass defense and clean contact where no flag should have been thrown. With a big penalty yardage gain and a new fresh set of downs GB scores the go ahead TD on the continuation of this drive. Although I agree that the Fail Mary is a bad call because Tate gets away with a clear pass interference and doesn't have simultaneous possession. Yes he grabs on to the ball before the defender landed and can confirm possession and a catch while Tate had both feet down but still a stretch calling it a TD and not a INT. However since GB was gifted a fresh set of bogus downs that gave them the go ahead points I see the Fail Mary call as poetic justice and righted a bad call that changed the game in favor of GB.
You missed THE CLASSIC mistake. In 1998 the league was without replay, again, because it took somewhere between 5 to 15 minutes to review a play. At this time Vinny Testaverde was the Qb for the Jets. Near the end of the game he "rushed" for a touchdown. Replay showed that he only got his head across the goal line. The rest of his body AND the ball never touched the goal line. The Jets won that game by 2 points against the Seahawks. Instant replay was brought back the very next year BECAUSE of this officiating screw up.
Great list, never saw the jerry rice one before! If youre contemplating a part 2, id add the steelers jesse james catch (got screwed like dez bryant) and if you go back and watch the aaron rodgers hail mary against the lions, there never should have been a facemask call on suh on the play before the hail mary. Suh grabbed the inside of his shoulder pad and rodgers ducked into it to make it look like suh grabbed his facemask
I have two that are some how not on the list despite being just as crazy, if not more than those on the list. 1) Absolutely insane the Music City Miracle isn't on here. It was a miracle not because of the play of the Titans, but that the Titans got away with a forward pass that was obvious on the eye test in real time, they reviewed it and still kept it (as titans fans were right on top of the guy reviewing the play practically), and it was even proven by a Rochester professor years later to be a forward pass. Titans end up in the Super Bowl that year. Massive blunder and huge implications. 2) Way lesser known, but even more egregious. 2019 wild card round, Bills at Texans. Texans receive a kickoff. The reciecer is in the endzone and just flips the ball away towards the referee, falsely believing it was a touchback. Bills recover it for a touchdown. The on field ref correctly knew that according to rule 7.2.1, the player must take a knee or go to the ground to be down, and called it that way. Then, suddenly, a man in a black coat runs into the field to talk to the referee. I assume he was a backup official or something. They change the call to a touchback. It wasn't even a judgement call, it was a strait up rule violation to award the touchback. I have never seen any backup league officials run out on the field to "correct" a call despite it being a black and white rule issue; and changing it to the wrong call on top of that. That was the first time I considered there might be some light fixing for gambling. It was so wild. Anyway, it ended up changing the outcome of the game, as the game was decided by less than one possession. Edit: I totally forgot about bottle gate. Also deserved to be on here

@Potato Joe who’s your team???
Thank you! No one ever talks about Jerry dropping that ball on 3rd down.. I'll never forget it, because even at the time myself and 2 of the most die hard Packer fans knew they wasn't gonna take that catch away from the goat... Especially he was setting some kinda streak for catches
NOLA no call hurts more cuz it would’ve been Brady v Brees
The NOLA No Call is the worst. The game was OVER. That was the most obvious possible PI to call, there was no reason for a flag not to be thrown, its undebatable, he didnt even look at the ball. The Saints either run it down and kick a chip shot field goal, or run it down and score a TD, both scenarios, the Rams have 30 or less seconds left to drive down the field and tie it with Jared Goff as QB.
There are two things in life that will never change: Refs hate the lions, and Refs love Tom Brady
So true. They also hated Clay Matthews.
Except the Thanksgiving game against the Steelers.
Most of these show how fixed the league is.
@@fuktrumpanzeeskum Keep dreaming, moron.
@@fuktrumpanzeeskum that's true for most but the Seahawks steelers superbowl was clearly rigged. The refs admitted it after the fact.

3) 2007 Super Bowl. Uncalled holding on the Tyre catch.

Yeah, I was wondering where that one was; the one where they gave Aaron Rodgers multiple chances at a last minute Hail Mary. He missed the first try, so "facemask" on the pash rusher and Rodgers got a do-over.
Why is this in my recommendation 😭so much pain

Jesse James lost possession of the ball after hitting the ground so the pass is incomplete since he did not complete the catch during the process of the catch.
And also, that Player checked in as eligible on the giants one
Been a Raider fan my whole life and am still pissed off about the tuck rule call. After Reggie Bush got signed to the Saints I started following the Saints more closely as my "NFC team" and I was absolutely livid at the non PI call. I sure know how to pick teams, I guess. LOL
I can’t wait to see the tuck rule show up.
It's always in big games, at big moments. You will never convince me that certain games aren't rigged to some degree.
The pass interference on Benny Barnes against Lynn Swann in Super Bowl 13 was one of the worst pass interference calls in the history of football
I'm not a Patriots fan, but I would call the Tuck Rule more of a dumb rule than a bad call.

@Silver Fox Sports but it was
@Silver Fox Sports bro are you blind he had control the whole way through the ball moved when he went to reach over the goal line, Jesse James would suffer the same fate as Dez in the AFC divisional round (I forgot what year).
I agree 100% it’s stupid but unfortunately it happened
@Silver Fox Sports Wrong
How do you not mention any of the horrendous Ed Hocculi calls that went against San Diego? He made so many bad calls that the NFL wouldn't let him officiate a Chargers home game for multiple seasons after that for fear of his personal safety.

All the other NCAA Football Divisions have a Play Off system, why not their Top Division?) Sit down with that horseshit
Dez couldn’t retain control. The call was correct
The 2001 Bottlegate incident in Cleveland
The tuck rule was a fumble even by the rules. No need to lie after all this time
Another flag that was not thrown, in the 2020 AFC championship against the Browns there was a helmet to helmet that should’ve been called it made a touchdown not count and the Browns would later loose by 5
As a raider fan we always get cheated
Not to demean your post, but the Raiders in the 70s and 80s admitted to cheating and dared the officials to catch them at it. I think the bias against them stems from this bit of stupidity in NFL history.
Fail Mary is the worst one, although all of these are bad
You missed Vinnie Testaverde’s phantom TD vs the Seahawks in 1998.
That loss basically ended the Seahawks playoffs chances that season that later got HC Dennis Erickson fired.
But… some guy named Mike Holmgren was hired to become their next HC
Right, that play created the motivation and pressure to add instant replay.
NOLA NO CALL!

I have felt the pain of Viking fans for 40 plus years on that horrible "fixed(?)" call that went in favor of the NFLs newly christened "Americas Team".

Drew Pearson push off vs Vikings in 75
2001 Jacksonville vs Browns.

Jesse James’s touchdown against the Patriots should be on here, I don’t think I’ve ever been more mad while watching a football game
Dez caught it.
Plus even without that call and had Green Bay won, the standings and playoff seedings would have been identical.
The Bert Emmanuel rule!!!
Also deserved to be on here
Y'all blame the Saints for the PI call but don't realize they shouldn't have let LA be that close to them lol
