_How you aren't at 1M subscribers is beyond me. Surely you know that you are one of the handful of channels that have remained faithful in providing true Godly content in these last days. Thank you for that. Maranatha_
As much as I love the word to burn like fire I also very much so appreciate the solitude this channel with such a strong intimate following offers. We are small in number yet mighty by faith.
Luke 17:20-37 Jesus answers the Pharisee's one way and then his disciples are referred to what happened in Noah's and Lot's days when only few people were found to be 'faithful'. Also Paul's letter to the Romans 3:10-18 which refers to Psalms 14, 5, 140, 10, 36 and Isaiah 59 are possibly prophetic passages indicating that fewer and fewer people would be 'dedicated' believers in 'the last days'?!?! If this is true then it is not at all surprising that Gavin's narration of Spurgeon is followed by so few. For most of my 72 years I have not heard from but a very few of the many thousands of people I have had opportunity to come in contact with anything that sounded like 'dedication' to Biblical principles. However, early on, raised an RC I was a proclaimed atheist and antisocial and so very deaf and blind to most messages of Biblical truths despite completing the rituals for confirmation as a RC.
Thank you so much for delivering these wonderful sermons. I awakened sick with chills, aches, etc, and you & Spurgeon are helping me focus on the Holy Trinity.❤
Sorry to read you are not well 2 days ago and I pray for you my friend. I spent 15 hrs 26 mins. Plus overtime with repeat listening to "A History of the Reformation of the 16th Century" by Jean-Henri Merle d'Aubigne on 'Christian Sermons and Books' channel. Though the focus is Martin Luther this book brings to attention more details of the time rather than 'glorifying' Luther who never reformed himself! Did you read all of the bio of Madame Guyon you mentioned. I think I posted her cousin's name, Francois Fenelon who one of the RC's I talk with reads and maybe I mentioned the Wikipedia article about Fenelon recording Philip Doddridge as a 'fan' of some of his work. As they say, even a broken clock is correct twice a day, for analog handed clocks anyway. Wish you well, Clif
I don't want to be distracting but can I please ask anyone that sees this comment to pray for my hometown. Racism and discrimination are a major problem there. Please pray for the salvation of the people there (especially those perpetrating the racism and discrimination) and also for comfort, peace and healing for those there who have been harmed by racism. Thank you.
Enoch spent the first 63 years of his life whoring and sleeping around from one woman to the next. He periodically walked with God during that time but it wasn’t until he finally repented and married methuselahs mother that he walked with God continually. The people of the time would see Enoch once every few months in the mountains and coming out of caves but he hated being around people because since he walked with God he glowed of the spirit of God and people tried to worship him so he spent 99% of his life in the caves and the mountains away from people. God took him because he would have also lived up until the flood and he would have been the only person in history to live over 1000 years so that’s why God took him plus God already had it planned for him to return in the end to bear witness
Elijah was the second person who never died but then Jesus told the Pharisees that alijah was among them but they did not recognize him and they killed him. Meaning John the Baptist was the reincarnation of Elijah.
Oh to walk with God as Enoch did! I can’t begin to imagine how deep and wonderful it was/is! Glory to the Lord forever! 🙌🏼✝️❤️
