Wow, this set was absolutely marvelous... The Dorsey's mastery was stunning. Thank you so much for sharing this treasure! In the meantime, I hope the medical tests you underwent were successful and that you are feeling better thanks to adequate treatment. Wishing you all the best!
@@Bigband78 Thank you so much Lou; I am sorry to hear your shorthess of breath hasn't improved so far :-( I dearly hope the treatment adjustment will help!
@@Bigband78 99 is perfect :-) Did you ever get covid? In that case shortness of breath could be a sequel; if you did not, it is a mystery indeed. Good luck with the new test on Friday!
Hey Lou, i've just recently discovered your Rudy Vallee playlist from 14 years ago, and out of curiosity i've checked your channel and saw that you are still posting to this day, which is really amazing. You are a true veteran of RUclips. How long have you been doing this now? I geniuenly wonder how old you are, no offense but im just curious. Anyways, love your content. Hope it'll countinue!
Leon,I got booted off YT about 17 years ago.I was Victrolaman1 At that time I uploaded Richard Himber's "Winter Wonderland"and somebody claimed copyright. I'm almost 86 and was stationed in Ft Hood+Germany with Elvis Presley.
@@Bigband78 Thank you for your Service sir! 86 year old youtubers are very rare, like i said, you're not only a army veteran, but also a youtube veteran at this point! Keep up the great work, greetings from germany!
@@Bigband78I'm 64 now, and really enjoy your channel. I was raised on big band and Broadway tunes and jazz. My mother was in NYC in summers in the '40s, and family friends owned a hotel and a ballroom in Armstrong county PA and would sneak her in to see the bands when they played there. She met many of the musicians in those places, so I guess that's helped pique my interest. I never enjoyed much of my generation's music because too much of it was either too simpleton or too much noise and not enough talent. Of course, as Ellington said, If it sounds good it IS good. Thanks to this post, I have finally learned the name of that first tune is Contrasts. 🙂 Keep on keeping on! My mom is 95 this year.
@@r.severn7479 Take care of your mom.My mom would have been 103 on june 21.She loved German Polkas.I have a photo with 96 year old Speigle Wilcox of the 1927 Jean Goldkete band in some of the videos.
