    I believe that Steve is the very best source of information on any & all RVs he's reviewed. I've been following his reviews for over a year. I've always found his reviews to be the most I formative. Great job Steve. Thx so much.

    So glad to see Thor moved the generator to the rear compartment to avoid excessive heat recirculation near the chassis engine. Good informative video

    FYI. On the 2018 ACE the slides will not operate with the engine running (safety feature). Engine has to be running for levelers, can’t be running for slides. Another note, auto level always seems to level way to high. Use the manual and you can get level in a much lower position. Overall I like my ACE 29.4.

    Great video. We are currently vacationing in a family members 27.2 and the first time I went to dump the tanks I was confused by the 3 options. This video is so much better than the manual. I read the whole thing and it is too generic to be useful. Put this video as a QR code on the front of the manual.
    My 6 and 4 year old are in the bunk. I am laying on the couch with my daughter that turned 2 today. We are going to be looking at 30' when we get back from this trip.

      What did you end up buying? My preference right now is no more than a 25 ft. I live alone my 33 year old son is single has a job so most of the traveling will be by myself. No pets seems I outlive them all.

    Great Video! Can you get a ACE with full body paint? I am concerned about delmanation graphic peeling ect. Also I have seen several used ACE that were not that old and the interior furniture is peeling. Have you improved the quality? Does the 2024 Ace offer a rear North and South Bed?

    how is the A.C.E. at winter? im not asking for it to climb mountains in a blizzard, but can it be lived in 4 seasons with at home winterization? this style is everything im looking for!

    • @ThorMotorCoach
      @ThorMotorCoach  2 года назад +1

      Hi Gary. The main concern would be plumbing. The tanks are enclosed and heated but if you plan on spending a lot of time in below-freezing weather, you would want to add extra insulation to your plumbing system. You'll also want to follow the owner's manual for the motorhome and the Onan manual for operating the generator in cold weather. Thanks for the question. - Steve

      I am a professional mechanical insulator. As long as getting to the lines isn't a trouble, insulating them alone is easy.
      As long as it doesn't need heat tracing, it's easy job for me. Heat tracing I would need to call electrician most likely to run a line, or dedicated plug for it.

    The only thing I’d say I’d disagree with in this entire video is one piece of advice where he said to use the outside water connection to winds the stinky slinky. I’ve heard that’s not really good EV etiquette but I’m new
