Great content and videography. I like that you don't skip showing how the Rivian actually do the work on various obstacles. Too many of these kinds of videos are very pretty, but are light on demonstrating the truck's capabilities.
Great great videos!! I live in LA and have a blue R1T (just did a killer roadtrip to Austin and back) and would be thrilled to join y'all on any adventures if you ever need more Riv for your footage... by all means let me know.. have a great Sunday
Excellent videos. This one was just superlative in giving us beautiful scenery while showcasing the Rivian's capabilities. Liked how you showed responsible camping, including picking up other irresponsible camper's trash. Kudos all the way around.
Thanks for showing the road trip to the trail, so people don’t assume there’s a charger at the trailhead. Yes, you can road trip and still have enough range to off road.
Great videography and content! Thank you for sharing that adventure. I'm still waiting on my R1S (hopefully by years end), but would love to join you all once I'm in the game!
Dope video! Love the content. My R1T comes in soon, like many others here, would love to join on a day trip in the near future if possible. A local meet up would be ideal.
Enjoyed your video very much. Beautiful area and beautiful videography. To what PSI did you lower the tires pressure? The Rivian recommended 31 PSI or did you go lowered?
Hey Dave! The tire that comes with the 22” is low profile and doesn’t really have a good tread pattern or depth for off road use - it may be possible but I personally wouldn’t recommend it.
Fantastic Cinematography! What drone do you use and how long would you say it took for you to be this proficient? Waiting for my R1S in Northern Colorado.
i just recently got an R1T and i'm dying to try offroading but purchased it with the 21" street tires. Did any of those guys go up the trail in road tires? or were they all all terrain 20"? Cool videos btw :)
No one has imagination or any clue about anything. An ev truck = - Way less risk of brushfire due to no hot exhaust /muffler -no need to buy locking differential or Regear your differential for bigger tires. -No need to spend $100s in gas to go off road for a weekend -Less risk of tipping over low center of gravity -no risk of flooding or starving the motor of engine oil on extremely steep inclines - no worry about over heating and needing big electric fans and transmission coolers -No slipping the torque converter or riding the clutch when crawling. One foot driving -silence so you can enjoy nature, and actually hear the spotters yell at u -Don’t need a dual battery set up to power your off-road lights and camping gear or generally just worry about running out of battery and needing a jumpstart (ironically) -zero t case bullshit trying to shift into 2H/4H/4L. That almost never goes smoothly with either electronic actuated T case or a manual shift .anyone who tells you otherwise is bullshitting. -insane instant power to fly over deep sand -no ugly snorkel or air filter setup that gets clogged with dust all the time -no power loss in high altitude mountains
How are you going to be charging up if you're offroading for the weekend? lol. Even for day trip, you'd better plan out your mileage well. You are correct on the other points. Not sure about being able to put on bigger tires though. Don't think you can go much bigger with those fenders. You're also going to be limited in articulation.
That thing must have some garbage tires if you had to lower your tire pressure on that trail. Giving up mileage for an unnecessary gain in traction. Noob
Great video. I love the R1T but a bit reluctant to purchase one after reading about some of the issues. Drive units failing, truck bricking, creaking sounds from axle shafts, etc.
Valid concerns, but need to consider the nature of forums and social media. A handful of owners that actually have issues are always going to be the most vocal. At around 12 or 13k trucks on the road now, several of them are bound to have issues and pop up in social media forums. Thousands of others have absolutely no issues. There are several youtube channels from off road recovery guys with videos documenting recoveries of broken/stuck vehicles from every well known off road manufacturer out there. Go to any forum page from any brand - Jeep, Bronco, etc, and the same volumes of stories of issues and things breaking are there. The R1T just gets the same issues amplified because it is a brand new category and new technology in a lot of ways. I haven't seen anything that leads me to believe the R1T has any more or less problems than any well known vehicle brand. This video was an awesome example of how fun they are and perform nearly flawlessly with no issues for a lot of owners. All that said, for those that do have problems, there are definite growing pains with building out their service centers and model of obtaining service that need some work, but I expect those to improve with growth.
Leave it better than you found it. Always nice to see someone else practice this.

Thanks! I’ll definitely continue to share how this truck performs in real off road conditions 🤘🏻So far it’s been a blast!
There were obstacles?
Thank you for picking up the trash from others. 🙏🏽

Thanks and congrats on your truck! I’d love to organize a meet up with more Rivian owners sometime - I will def keep you posted🙌🏻
Awesome seeing vehicles that work in completely different ways trail side by side!
also, kudos on the cinematic efforts, such as the headlights, sequential pulling out, and staged parking haha
Thanks! That final headlight/trucks pulling away shot took some coordinating haha
Great video! 🤙🏼 Looking forward to the next adventure with the Rivian crew! 🌮⚡️⚡️⚡️🌮
Production and content is off the charts. I dont even care for off roading but this inspires me
Thank you - really happy you are enjoying the videos!

Thanks! Happy you are enjoying the videos🙌🏻
So much fun, so beautiful footages!
Thank you!🙌🏻
Awesome video. I dont expect to do a lot of offroading in my R1T when I get it in about 2 weeks but will be towing a bunch.
Thanks - I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!
Thanks for showing the road trip to the trail, so people don’t assume there’s a charger at the trailhead. Yes, you can road trip and still have enough range to off road.
Thanks Frank! And yes plenty of adventures to be had without worrying about range👍🏻
Your videos are beautiful and very informative. Keep up the good work!
Thank you🙌🏻
Great videography and content! Thank you for sharing that adventure. I'm still waiting on my R1S (hopefully by years end), but would love to join you all once I'm in the game!
Thank you! Would be great to organize a drive with some fellow Rivian owners - I will def keep you posted👍🏻
Great video! We need more footage from the ground level mud-puddle cam. 🙂
I’ll keep that in mind for future videos😁
@@ChargeOverland RC boat cam :)
Dope video! Love the content. My R1T comes in soon, like many others here, would love to join on a day trip in the near future if possible. A local meet up would be ideal.
Another great video!
Thank you!
Super fun trail!! We broke her in!!! 🫣🤣
It was a blast!😁😁
Gorgeous thumbnail picture
Thanks!
I love people make posible Rivian
Probably the least cool that Tacoma driver has ever felt lol, great video! Man, I can't WAIT for my R1T.
Why? 1st rule of Rivian off roading: bring some yotas with you. lol
Yotas and rivians and all those IFS trucks belong together.
Great visuals
Thank you!
Enjoyed your video very much. Beautiful area and beautiful videography. To what PSI did you lower the tires pressure? The Rivian recommended 31 PSI or did you go lowered?
Thanks and happy you enjoyed the video! I aired down to about 30psi 👍🏻
Great shots. Question, how do you think the Rivian 22" Sports would do on that trail?
Thank you! I use a DJI Mini 3 Pro - been flying with drones for a few years now👍🏻 Congrats on the R1S!
It is called wheel rash and we generally dont spot for this or count it as "damage".
I just love this. I hope EV overlanding keeps raking off and being great by the time I can afford an R1T or sequel lol
I definitely think it’s going to become much more of a thing especially as the charging infrastructure expands and more affordable options pop up 👍🏻👍🏻
i just recently got an R1T and i'm dying to try offroading but purchased it with the 21" street tires. Did any of those guys go up the trail in road tires? or were they all all terrain 20"? Cool videos btw :)
Hey there! All off road wheels/tires on this drive - I can’t say I’d recommend off roading with the street tires. Congrats on your R1T👏🏻
we need to double the energy density, and it will be a wonderful world or trucking.
That’s be great haha
Are you all friends or was this a planned mini Rivian meet up?
Would love to meet some fellow owners and do some cool stuff
This was a group of my friends but at some point I’d definitely like to organize a meet up to do some fun stuff 👍🏻👍🏻
Did you charge the truck to 100% for this trip?
Yes I did 👍🏻
🔥👌👏🏾🇵🇹
🙌🏻🤘🏻⚡️
Thanks for pickup up trash yall
At least she didn’t have the black wheels. That should sand right out
great shots and storytelling, but please :P don't use the same song over and over.
Been working on that with recent videos! 😂👍🏻
@@ChargeOverland awesome! Love watching them otherwise!

I mean if you wanna stick to dirt roads. Sure.

So much anger
