I have these nickels and much more, from my grand mother who immagrants to Canada in 1935, she has late 1850s liberty silver dollars and more. I took the entire collection to the coin collector in Regina and was told face value only ?..

where do you find information about these war coins? I have several that have odd coloring including a 43 V but in coins and canada there is no particular mention in the listings of V nickels or their composition?
