    I've been watching your videos for a couple months now. I have to say after watching this video it made me realize you are really good at teaching. You simplify the cases saying the numbers for each case, and this video was done beautifully. Great job! 😊

    Thanks for the informative (and very useful) video Dasha. I knew most of the phrases on this subject (but my pronunciation needs some work.....) but I need to practice (and use) things like "Стол на двоих" more often..... instead of letting a Russian friend say it when we get to a restaurant.

      You can also learn this phrase: стол у окна (a table by a window) 😀

    I don't have a russian keyboard, so i can't give you examples, but with my russian vocabulary, my conversation with a server would be like this:
    Table for two please! I don't understand. I am learning russian. Can you speak slower? Do you speak english? Thank you, have a good day 😅 It is a very hard language to learn as a norwegian. What are my chances of meeting a russian who speaks english if I visit Russia? Thank you for the video by the way!

      Thank you for your comment 😌 A lot of people in Moscow and Saint Petersburg speak English, although mostly speak very slowly. In other cities you might find people that are not afraid of speaking English, also you can use Google translate (record your voice and show the screen to the local). If you travel for more than a few days, I highly recommend you to buy a russian sim card with Internet, it will cost you almost nothing.

      @@RussianwithDasha Great tips, thank you so much! I can't wait to visit one day, it is not expensive to travel from norway to russia. I am going to keep learning so I can communicate better until then =)

    usually the people working in the restaurant will ignore you, because you are a foreigner. how to solve this problem ?

    • @RussianwithDasha
      @RussianwithDasha  3 года назад

      I’d raise my hand and say: «Извините, можно вас?» or just «Извините…». Meaning “Excuse, may I have your attention please”. «Извините, вы могли бы подойти, (пожалуйста)?» is “Excuse me, could you come here please”? Пожалуйста is optional, because in Russian it’s already a polite way of asking.

    В России это невежливо попросил ли я блюдо без мяса?

    • @RussianwithDasha
      @RussianwithDasha  3 года назад

      Почему? В России много вегетарианцев 😀 Вы можете сразу сказать: «Я не ем мясо, у вас есть блюда для вегетарианцев/веганов?».

    • @Ded_Silu
      @Ded_Silu 3 года назад

      @@RussianwithDasha На самом деле, я имею ввиду, когда кто-то приглашает тебя в гости и ты приходишь к им.

    • @RussianwithDasha
      @RussianwithDasha  3 года назад

      @@Ded_Silu Я думаю, что хозяева не обидятся, но если они мало знают о вегетарианстве, они могут начать спрашивать, почему вы не хотите это блюдо. Я думаю, что всё будет хорошо, если вы заранее скажете, что вы вегетарианец.
