- We Finished out 2020 corn silage season with our own silage for the dairy. We couldn't be any more happier or grateful for the way this years corn silage season went and are already looking forward to what 2021 corn silage season will bring us!

This is why fuel prices need to be low I think the administration doesn’t see this. Farmers can’t just go buy electric combines!

Local dairy farm hires my dad this time of year to help with their corn harvest. He smells like weird popcorn when he comes in at 1 or 2 am, washing his clothes is always fun shredded corn everywhere. Great video guys stay safe

This is so cool.. I always dreamed of this kind of technology to my country Philippines . How I wish the government will help farmers have this kind of equipments to improve farming .. thereby increasing their yield and income
Maybe some day. But most government officials want the people more poor them. So they are more dependent upon the government.and more easy to control.
Filipinos always expect somebody to save them and want to blame all their problems on their corrupt government…but their corrupt government is a reflection of their corrupt society…
Make me wonder why wealthy countries cam send trillions of dollars to destroy another buy won't help where really needed , I'm sorry I hope one day we can all enjoy life on this planet the same way 🌎

I loved this video and the music. And I'm gonna watch the sorghum chopping. We make molasses here in NC also. I am a beekeeper and I love to eat the corn pollen the bees bring back to hive. It's so good. Thanks for sharing. Did I say I loved the music? Cause I do. Lol. Rock on and chop on.

Whole plant chopped and fermented into silage is the back forage for feeding cattle that produce milk and beef

How does the chopper seperate the corn from the plant? It looks like the whole plant is just chopped into the carrier
It is. This is for whole crop silage.

@@heirofabdullah6191 the corn is not separated from the stock, it is all just chopped up and mixed together. This is not consumer corn it is animal food.

Alguien que me pueda ayudar a entender de que se trata este video por favor. En español, gracias.
Se trata de cosecha de maíz (toda la planta con mazorca aún tierna), se pica todo como se ve, con la finalidad de hacer silos, es decir fermentación que sirve para alimentación de ganado vacuno principalmente, rico en proteínas etc. lo tapado sirve para el proceso, el silo una vez procesando se va utilizando diariamente para la alimentación hasta el nuevo ciclo. Saludos

Me and several others did a field today out of Somerset Pennsylvania. My truck is a 6 axel dump. I'm an old coal patch kid...but have much much respect for all our farmers.😊

It looks stunning but when you sit and think about it it is scary because this is needed today to keep us going and if there is a break in the process we will have famine very quickly
And it all runs on carbon based fuel. Without it humanity cannot feed itself at current population levels.

Watching that chopper work to that music is so fitting.
I've done that on a smaller scale with a wheat and milo harvest. I true love the feeling of having continued skill on truck and/or harvester. We ran 4 trucks and the combine stopped for fuel or end of day 🙂. Someone would bring lunch in back of a pickup, we'd set combine to auto, climb on top for a lunch fast pitch. Best not miss cuz dinner is long time off 😭.
