One of the best games I remember playing as a kid. I'm 18 now. Spiderman was my favorite character and the voice actor for Spiderman was so epic and fitting for a badass Spidey. I'm super shocked that the developers never made a sequel for this game. One of my all-time faves.

Fault Zone is actually such a cool character! Her backstory and how she would do anything to dance again really hit me hard since I was a dancer in high school. She's not even inherently evil, Roekel gave her the ability to walk/dance back so she doesn't care what she has to do.

I kinda wished though there were more of them. It just felt off how in the game there were Ten "Heroes" and only 8 Imperfects (though one was a hero herself (Paragon) and another was just in a suit (Niles Van Roekel)).

I really like Johnny Ohm on this game. For me he is the perfect character. He got a perfectly balanced stats, he can fly which for me is very useful, and his projectile attack will simply disperse if the enemy do a power block and won't fly back straight at you.
That's something I actually liked about that game, the higher tier characters were actually stronger than the street levelers, you could still beat Iron man with wolverine but it was harder, also the combat was great.

Well, Marvel didn't have the "no-killing" rule back then. It depends of the hero moral. Per example, Iron Man literally blown up the head of the villain at Extremis series.
I actually loved this game, the combat moves, the combos, the grappling, the ability to throw someone off stage, the finisher moves, the physics of it, everything was just perfect. It was also the day i found out i like gore porn. Favorite characters being Paragon and Wink (and Spiderman/Venom/Hazmat). But i think it was kind of unbalanced, in the sense that if you played any characters with long range abilities and/or airborn movement (like Ironman, Spiderman, Paragon etc.) it was really hard for a ground based character to deal with. For example if you fought the Thing, and you managed to throw him off stage, it was over, whereas any of the previously mentioned have at least one way of getting their asses back on the battleground.
I just don't understand why they won't make another one of these. Minus the imperfects. Not that they aren't cool and all, I just feel that Marvel has enough characters that they don't need to use them again. But to me this was the best format for a superhero fighting game. Injustice is great but left to right fighting just doesn't capture the dynamics of a fight between characters who can fly or web swing etc. Imagine fighting Hulk as Thor and knocking him through buildings etc. I don't get why they make all these lame movie adaptation games when they could make more money on another one of these.

The problem with having the Invisible Woman in the game is if you're playing with another player on the same screen, how are you going to be able to see her without the other player being able to see her?
Back when this amazing game was still in good shape, I used to play as Spider-Man, Wolverine, Venom, Maya (Paragon) and Elektra respectively and no one can beat me as Wolverine except Storm sometimes because she can attack from a distance but playing as Paragon and Venom used to make me unbeatable until the game broke even before I manage to beat its story, it's a real shame they didn't remaster it. Edit: Maya (Paragon) looks great in black and Elektra looks wonderful in red though I'm not a fan of her but she's amazing because she actually looks like my wife.

I love this game, because the history is really god and the 3d gameplay it’s amazing, the ultimate attacks are so incredible, you can see iron make a laser beam from he’s Chest and kills spider-man, or Daredevil using his stick to broke a neck.

I'm on mobile so commenting sucks but anyway I love how they actually used the same style of spiderman 2 in this spiderman with their own twist.

4:20 me when I play someone online and they spam the same attack over and over and over until I break them and kick they ahh and have them looking stupid cause I know what the outcome was going to be.
I love this game, because the history is really god and the 3d gameplay it’s amazing, the ultimate attacks are so incredible, you can see iron make a laser beam from he’s Chest and kills spider-man, or Daredevil using his stick to broke a neck.
