Odwomtofoohene Nana Kwame Ampadu l ur death is a great loss to Music in Ghana...Nana you really a legend.. a maestro, role model and a great musician...ur music will linger on our minds...damrifa due Nana Rest well Ur legacy lives on...R.l..P Odwomtofoohene
One day I was in Scotland (Edinburgh) and playing Kwabena Amoah on my phone and a guy met me in my hotel reception and started singing Kwabena Amoah so I just looked at him then he asked me which country I think he is from now I said Somalia he said no but he is from Morocco and I was so proud that particular time because I thought Nana songs are old so only we Ghanaians listen but the guy proved me wrong..
Message to you The legend Nana Kwame Ampadu, Nana I greet you. Please I think you can do one or two albums because our highlife music is dying, there is no competition anymore in our highlife music so please think deeply about this Nana or just do remix of some of your great songs and mix with maybe one or two new songs. It will really highlight the youth you didn't hear you singing those 80's and 90's.
Rest well my sweet lovely grandmother, mrs theresa owusu baffour. Grandma iam really filled with tears, listening to this music. It really reminds me of her.
Nana, where do you get all these lyrics? your philosophical songs kills me and your story songs. I listen to them without getting tired. Infact, you have a lot to be remembered for. Nana, God bless you.
Good song. Nana had now become "Osenkafuohene" in place of "Onwontofuohene"...Nana declared so himself at Royal Cinema sometime in 1990 or so and I was there to listen to him...the length of the lyrics was getting longer and longer...
I think Nana Ampadu was acclaimed the "Onwontofuohene" at the Royal Cinema earlier than 1990. It could be toward the end of 1970, or the earliest 1980. Because, the Osei Kofi, Kwame Seth squad played at Accra New Town in the 1980s during the funeral celebration of Nana's father in law.
@@oseisiribuor4521 Did you actually comprehend what UncleMo wrote up there? No where in his write-up did he state that Nana Ampadu was proclaimed "Onwontofuohene" at the Royal Cinema in 1990. Go back and read it again, and if you need help with English comprehension, ask for help. Let me help you out. This is his quote: "Nana had now become "Osenkafuohene" in place of "Onwontofuohene"...Nana declared so himself at Royal Cinema sometime in 1990 or so.." This is what it meant: Instead of embracing the appellation of "Onwontofuohene" that had been bestowed upon him earlier in his career, Nana Ampadu, by the time this song was released, had assumed the title of "Osenkafuohene," and he even declared himself "Osenkafuohene" at Royal Cinema sometime in 1990.
