One of the best tutorials ever. I'm trying to decide on a website builder to master. I heard the elementor plug-in makes your website slow and that WordPress websites need constant maintenance and updating your plug-ins to prevent your entire website from breaking.
How is you experience related to that? Do you have to update plug-ins every few weeks or is it a good solution to make a website for a client and then leave them alone with very basic maintenance they can easily handle?

Hello, thank you for this great tutorial. I made too many mistakes while building my web site, how do I start all over again? My goal is to make an artist portfolio site, clean and simple, should I use WordPress builder or the hostinger builder instead? All I need is landing page with no scrolling down, simple menu for about gallery and contact.

What is the difference of a "Theme" and a "Template"? I thought the theme was the template. Great video.
Question - I paid for the second plan with Wordpress, domain hosted by Google (now squarespace). I'm transfering the domain hosting to Hostinger. Once that's done, will I need to still be paying for my Wordpress plan, or will the Hostinger plan cover some of that?

thanks! Take a look at the wordfence plugin, they have a free version that‘s good.
I have added the same template as you did, however, is made up only from one container and whatever pictures and text I have there, are all together. If I want to change anything, I will have to do it in '"CONTENT "'', in the text editor. And is all there in the text editor, the entire page with all images that are in the container. Don't know if it makes sense, but maybe they have changed something since you have done the video. Is the same for all templates.
I have the same problem. Going crazy for days now. What he shows on his computer and what I have on mine is not the same. The first picture on the home page is a background image. And I wasn't able to replace it.
After hours of searching, I got this from Elementor website:

I uninstalled everything and started from scratch. Hopefully, it will work now.

Awesome video! I'm currently building a website for a non-profit organization and as part of my portfolio to transition from Bookkeeping to Marketing/Website Building.
As a newbie I have a quick question to confirm (and I might be missing something): Do I need to first upgrade/subscribe to any Wordpress plans (Starter, Explorer, Creator, Entrepreneu, etc.), before purchasing/subscribing to a Hostinger plan? Or do the same as in the video, directly purchase a Hostinger plan then build the website via Wordpress & Elementor without any prior WP plans? Thanks and I appreciate any responses.

You don't need a wordpress paid plan for this to work. I can't speak to hostingers setup, but wordpress is free to install. On my hosting provider I know I can install wordpress through cpanel I'd assume hostinger is similar.
I self host for playing with wordpress as I've just started with it. I was able to install it and set it up fine. Basically I just followed this guide from after the chapter about installing wordpress and I got the same functionality.

Your video is really informative. however I want to open a site where experts earn commissions by providing feedback to people on my site. I purchased a domain from WordPress and tried to apply plugins and themes as you mentioned, but it says I can use it starting with the Creator plan. Is this because I didn't create the domain on the domain hosting site you run? Please advise. Also, is it possible to implement the expert feedback site I want to create with WordPress? And is there a better approach other than WordPress?
No, this is not the reason. It's all about the plan you select. Both plugins and Astra theme now require the Creator Plan which is then costly as per my view. Plugins are needed for advanced security and SEO capabilities. This is the problem...

I guess I'm an idiot because I have been at it for 3 hours and I can't find half the things in the video. Elementor only worked on half of my page. It told me to upgrade for more tools. I can't change the title color for starters. Is this the basic tools or the upgraded plugins?

I would look for (local) businesses that have a terrible looking website or no website at all. Then create a quick draft of what you could make for them. Maybe you also want to build out your portfolio by offering to create websites for free. Once you have a good portfolio of websites, it will be easier to get clients.

How do you switch your domain from Wix to another server like hostinger?
I'm not familiar with either service, but I'd like to point out your question could mean a few different things.
Do you mean to transfer your domain registration to another domain name registrar service?
Do you mean to change your name servers to a different DNS provider?
Or do you mean to change your DNS settings to point to a web server elsewhere?
I can explain these further if you like, in general terms. But just wanted to reply to basically give you more info that you might want to Google as your question could have multiple different answers or approaches.

Why can’t change the data of the mobile version independently? This is very inconvenient and uncooperative that I need to modify the tablet version to change mobile version. Great but there's one thing I don't understand, when I try to create a website without buying the hosting, because I want to buy it once I'm done, I can't use any plugins and templates, I have to pay $300 to access the creator. Does the hostinger subscription include these advantages, because now I have to design the site solely via wordpress and that's really not as good.
I assume you‘re on a wordpress.com plan. Honestly I recommend to just get a hostinger plan and build your site. You have a 30 day money back guarantee so they‘ll just refund you if you want to cancel within a month. There is a way to self host your website but I‘ve have never done it myself, maybe you‘ll find a video about it on yt. good luck!

You do not say that we must have at least a Creator level to be able to use the Astra Theme, or get the plugins you mention.
are you talking about wordpress.com or wordpress.org? there‘s a difference.
