I just didn't understand the concept of doing pooja and showing your back to the deity by everyone during the entire function. The set up for pooja should have been somewhere in side if you wanted to perform as well so that back is not towards the deity.

Are you from Mangalore? If you are not from Mangalore come experience & you will be frustrated. You ask Padmini Acharya , she would give some feed back.
