    I knew I did the right thing when I skipped the 2023 model and pre-ordered the 2024 one

      Well I'm just about to post my update to that video. The short answer is, it was just air in the line. I have rode the bike twice this week, and let it set for days at a time. Brakes are perfect now. Sorry if I keep you from buying this bike, I tried to make sure that I said that I personally believed it was just air in the line. It turns out this was true, again sorry man I didn't want to put out fuse information. It's been a good bike up till now.

      I'm getting the bike either way, I just preferred to preorder the 2024 model since the riding season is over and I'd rather get a new bike right before the next season starts, delivery is late Jan early feb@@BusaDepot

    Same thing with my 2023 took it to local dealer they Bled the brakes. They charged me for service.they said it wasn’t covered under warranty, cause it wasn’t mechanical. Call Suzuki they also said that it was not covered under warranty.. Brand new motorcycle thanks for the customer service Suzuki…

      Whether we do it ourselves or pay someone. With the God speeds we go. Lets just take care of it. Man this sucks because I thought of taking to dealership as I have 2023 as well. But I am here to learn from our friend and teacher. Doc at BusaDepot

    Here in the UK,there has been a recall made by Suzuki,the front master cylinder body is being replaced

      Yeah here in the states too, but that recall is for m2 models and mine is a m3 model. Thanks for the heads-up any way, ☺️ take care and be safe.

    A little plumber's tape can prevent any leakage from the valve to the hose. And bleeding the brakes at the calipers is not simple as you have a whole ABS box with electronics to deal with.

    • @BusaDepot
      @BusaDepot  9 месяцев назад

      Correct that's why I start with the top bleeder on the front Master cylinder. That way I'm not pushing air down through the ABS system. Once the top bleeder is bled then I'll bleed the two calipers down on the bottom. As for plumbers tape or Teflon tape, when I was doing mechanic work for the Chevrolet dealerships we were always instructed never to put that kind of tape on a brake system. I don't have an opinion one way or another if it's good or bad if you've done it in the past and it works then, then it's all good. I just know when I was going to school for my ASE certification that was touched on and also service bulletins from GM. Thanks for the reply, be safe brother.

    Sorry, kinda off topic but have you noticed your clutch fluid turning dark? Mine turned black not long after I replaced it. I think it has something to do with the push rod piston seals...

    • @BusaDepot
      @BusaDepot  9 месяцев назад +1

      Are we talking about a Gen 3 or Gen 1 or 2? If it's the one I see in your videos, was it dark when you got the bike? If so you might have to flush it a few times to really clean it out. If it continues to get dark after that, yes, what you looted to in your question could definitely be the problem. You might have to replace the seals. If it is an 2022 or newer if still under warranty I'd take it in. If not I'd replace the seals. Sorry to hear your having trouble with your bike, me and a few others are having hot start issues. And it's so inconsistent the dealership Can't recreate the problem.

      Yea gen 1 and I flushed the system when I first bought it so all the fluids are new. Seems to be a common issue with the 1st gen.
