Love how this looks Kellie…I purchased this kit a couple of weeks ago and am delighted to now make it my own…thank you for making project kits that are fun AND affordable…
I really like the 4 strands! I have made quite a few of these using just the 2 strands and they are my best sellers! I will be trying the 4 strand now!! thank you!
Once again, you are clever! I put to much thought into my lariat I made and it ended up not so good🙃 I can follow your tutorial and I'm sure my next one will be better! I'm so glad you are feeling more yourself. 😉😉
Awesome! Please show more leather suedes with the flat type instead of the leather cords 🙌🏼 I just love the feel of suede leather for necklaces and bracelets
Great idea Kellie - lots of variations too. You must dream jewellery ideas! Good luck with the eye surgery. You mentioned questions for an upcoming video and I have one. What do you think of the bead looper tool? And how would one use it?
Hi Kelsey, I’m trying to make this lariat but having a hard time crimping the Tibetan cord ends. I squeeze the center with all my might, but it doesn’t squeeze shut. What am I missing here???
I’m not sure! They are super soft metal and I’ve never had an issue trying to crimp them. If you bought the single ones from us or in the kit they shouldn’t cause you any troubles. Our $5 bagged findings ones can be a bit harder to use.
I tried making a lariat necklace with a shell/abalone ring, some 1mm cord (it’s got a white core, but outside is woven cotton or some kind of fiber, and some of my purple (glass) beads. I think the beads I used for the “dangle” part are too heavy though, because it won’t stay put. I even tried to put a knot where I wanted it to stay, but THAT didn’t even work. And I can’t even do anything because I don’t have my cutters cause they broke last night!
@@KelliesBeadBoutique I’m finally getting some work again and get paid on Thursday, so hopefully can get some new cutters, a pair of bent nose chain pliers, and maybe a few of your kits. I need to get some stuff made to sell and stuff to make gifts for Christmas!
I have been having trouble with my suede leather, it comes on a round bolt and after I cut what I need it stays curled, what is a good way to get it to straighten up? I must add that using an iron did not work! I melted my leather and it stuck to my towel I covered it with!
@@KelliesBeadBoutique thanks Kellie I have tried so many things and end up with a finished very curled necklace or the worse is when I make fringe with it. lol.
Perfect style for my inner cowboy.....LOL.....😉 you know, cowboy....lariat......no huh?......Just kidding. Super Cute, love “vegan” leather because of the colour range. (anyway, that should be my inner cowgirl) 😉😂😎

Good afternoon from California
Hi Deb!
HAHAHA I LUV IT 💓

They can definitely be something that can be challenging. I hope you are able to get a new pair of cutters soon!

Love that you have vegan suede!! How about vegan leather?
Just the vegan suede for now. 🥰
Hi Kellie n Makers
💜💜💜
Can you use this as a belt?
I’m not sure!
I have been having trouble with my suede leather, it comes on a round bolt and after I cut what I need it stays curled, what is a good way to get it to straighten up?
I must add that using an iron did not work! I melted my leather and it stuck to my towel I covered it with!
Honestly I have no idea! It’s frustrating for sure. I try to stretch it a bit.
Try steaming, or wetting (even soaking) with water, then drying straight, before using. I've had ornery leather cord that was tamed this way.
@@patriciamorgan6545 thank you I will be sure to try this, it gets frustrating.
@@KelliesBeadBoutique thanks Kellie I have tried so many things and end up with a finished very curled necklace or the worse is when I make fringe with it. lol.
I’ve never tried this but cut off a six inch section and iron it with a steam iron. Let it sit for a couple days to see how it responds.
Do you still have these kits?
Sorry but we don’t.
1st here! Hi Kellie!
