I feel sad that the JW have completely been detached from Jesus Christ, the word of God. Instead they are pointed to the organisation's literature rather that the Bible.
The disfellowshipping structure has been around since the 1950's under the direction of Nathan Knorr. It would be one thing if the adjustments were made because of long overdue self-reflection instead of governments like Norway seeing the damage they have done to people, esp. children, over many decades. Amazing how cutting off the money leads to "new light"

May God help them and He will so I pay they ask Him for their help and guidance. May God bless you.❤❤❤

Nothing to do with "control". Right Dr?
The reason why the disfellowship with harshness is because they progressed Christs ransom to the next stage of making Kings. They thought it was their Job. Thats why Jesus when he returns will comdemn them!
@TLSRUclips were there consequences for King David's sinful course? You mentioned "Jehovah ultimately forgave him", that is exactly correct. We all fall short and sin... but to choose a life course of willfully disobeying God's clear requirements obviously has consequences. It may require doing as Paul instructed and removing a person from the congregation to protect the congregation and hopefully as Nathan did with David, lead the person to repent and come back to serving Jehovah. I have many friends that chose to leave. Many have come back. And absolutely every one of them says it was their own choices and actions that led to the removal, for a time. Read 1cor5.. the man was removed from among them... with what result? In his very next letter to the Corinthians the man had changed his behavior and been welcomed back, they were to "cornfirm their love" for him. @@ronhansen8471 Jehovah's Witnesses are deeply indoctrinated to believe they possess "the truth," a conviction that is central to their identity.
