If a good song comes on while I'm in the middle of a mission, I go out of my way taking the longest route possible
Some times I just drive slower or I start hitting the other car till I get a wanted level so that they tell me. Remove your wanted level to go to the drop off location.

The great taste Rockstar had with choosing music for the radio stations has always been a great addition to the game, alot of times when i used to play often the music became a bigger focus then the game itself

My Self Radio station I made was just a copy-paste of the playlist I listened to on my chromebook on the bus home in high school. Now, 6 years after I played through the story mode, I still hop on once in a while and cruise around to either Los Santos Rock or my old Self Radio and remember being 16 again, staying up til 2am on my old HP laptop that would crash on the lowest settings, having such good fun.
Its been so long, yet i still remember the last mission. I usually skip the radio as its too noisy. While i was driving in the last mission as frank, apparently my favourite song from “Supernatural” came which they played on last episode of every season, namely “Carry on my wayward son”, it felt too emotional. Feeling the long play-through is at an end, drove slowly, enjoyed music…..it was amazing.
70s and 80s are just unmatched

I played GTA 5 only around the release on a PC, and then some time in 2016, but didn't really touch it afterwards. In 2021 i read a comment about how good radio stations are in this game and i realized that I loved to just run the game, and ride around the city while listening to non stop pop. So, that's what I did.
Thanks to this comment I've spent about 200h in GTA online and fell in love with west coast classics, radio Los Santos and especially radio mirror park.

Non stop pop and west coast classics, a few in blonded and radio los santos, and only one in the lab, which is of course the legendary song Welcome to Los Santos.

This game has Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc in it, that's my jam.
No other GTA radio comes close to the perfection that is Vice City's radio, but what I like about GTA games is that all their radios fits the theme and setting of the game. I don't like all radio stations but I wouldn't change them either because they all fit in their respective games.

Believe it or not driving through all the map listening to gta songs actually helped me fight with sadness . I felt really relaxed and in peace even though it's a virtual world
there was one night that i was super depressed, more than usual. hopped on my trusty xbox 360 and switched to micheal just to go stand on the pier at night and stare off into the virtual ocean. it was refreshing. it sounds stupid but i completely understand what you mean.

I know GTA5 has been out for 10 years now but I do have to say I still absolutely love it. It’s the old bridge that still keeps me connected to my younger days and every now and then it’s always nice to cross that bridge and experience those times again.
That's GTA SA for me! I just wish they didn't screw up the remakes because the old ones are still way better.

I'm a metal head through and through, but gta really opened me up to different kinds of music. I always stay in the car for From Nowhere by Dan Croll, Hearts in the Pipes by Tony Castles, and Shine a light by C90's. Gta has good music once you get used to it.

My favourite music in the game was Rain by The Cult! It plays out naturally when we switch to Michael who is sulking in sadness standing in the rain just outside of LS because his family left him. It was a very very beautiful detail!
