An Emotional Move-in Day for UVA Families

With a mix of mirth and melancholy, University of Virginia first-year students settled into their dorms last week. For students and families alike, the emotional day closed one chapter in life and opened another.

Takes me back to 6 years ago. Moved in my daughter. She had a great experience. That young woman with the braided red hair said she worked her whole life to get there. Say the same thing to her I said to my daughter. It will pay off in spades. Congrats 1st years and Go Hoos!
