I'll give them the Rini thing (I never knew in Japanese it meant small rabbit) if that's true (not saying it isn't, just I haven't had the time to research that myself) then i'll give them that it was clever in a good way, sadly they did kind of undermined themselves by having Rini says it's my mother's hairstyle thus pointing out her mother had the same hairstyle pretty much after Serena said that this was her hairstyle, and Darien pretty much sealed it before the "big reveal" by saying those two act so much like it each other it wouldn't surprise me if they were related. DiC is extremely clever I don't doubt that, but when they use that cleverness to harm the show's story people will bash them for it (deservedly so), If they did use Rini to try and hide her idenity, they shot themselves in the foot by making those two lines which destroyed that overall point.

I wonder if Viz does outtakes of the entire series (all 5 seasons, all 3 movies, and the specials), I wonder if one of them will be Sandy Fox quoting Tracey Hoyt's (the original voice of Chibi-Usa in the DiC dub and the movies) line from the S movie: "HELP! I'm getting cold shivers up my BACK!!!"
Oh no I assure you this is classic Chibiusa behavior. She's aimed a gun at Usagi on more than 1 occasion and specifically in Sailor Moon R, she attacks the team both physically (Guns, sleeping potion, hypnosis/mind control, stealing the Silver Crystal) and emotionally (bullying Usagi relentlessly, telling Ami her friends are horrible friends for not sending her off on her flight, manipulating/flirting with Mamoru and straining his relationship with Usagi). What I love about Chibiusa is she's a hero with villain-like tendencies which I find really interesting and complex. She settles down as we move into S and SuperS but in R she's a pure nightmare!

I'll never get used to the english names and im American. I personally don't get why they changed them in the first place. They aren't hard to pronounce. Plus the original names flow better

briansivley2001 i'm afraid whoever gave you that info is lying to you like there's nobody's business. there's absolutely zero chance she'll voice pluto.for one thing miss taylor is a union VA and the studio doing the dubbing is non-union and there are unfortunately rules and contracts that prevent union VA from doing voicwork for non ubion studios unless their using an alias. one example is both seph ,bosch and Toshiro's VA (steve cannon) used alias for tengo tenge back when they were union VA instead of being independent VAs today. definitely confusing i know and these union/non-union rules makes my head and any otaku newbiw blow up in confusion so i dont bother with the details, however union VA not being allowed to do voicework is one i know for sure which is why i can say for a fact that taylor wont be voicing pluto let alone anyone in this series.

They announced it when they announced the pre orders started and the official release date for the Sailor Moon R Part 1 Blu Ray / DVD limited edition.

Yagoshi300 I can't see Tara Strong voicing her. She's famous for voicing good characters even though Joker's henchwomen Harley Quinn is voiced by Tara Strong in the Batman Arkham Games besides Arkham Origins but she's more well-known for voicing heroes then villains.
Her Cloverway actress was really the only great actress from their dub and it fit so well and I'm glad ViZ did the same unlike DiC where they thought because she's a child she should have a whiney annoying voice. It gets tiring when they cast those voices for child characters

Chibiusa's voice actress is the only voice in this dub I have heard and liked instantaneously. I'm not really latching onto any of the others but this woman is doing a great job.
It's honestly messed up... Serena is just 14! And already got replaced with her future daughter... Bc from this point on, she's constantly competing with rini, or feels threatened by her. At one point, she even tells darien, that she thinks he likes rini more than her... And that's supposed to be their future daughter...
Viz Media please try to get the license for the whole Precure Franchise. It has huge potential for a good dub and seeing how you are handling the re dub of Sailor Moon I have full faith in your capability in dubbing these types of anime series. From what I heard the 1st season of Precure in English had a good cast and they did a good job doing it but we haven't seen more seasons of it since then. So please try to get The Precure Franchise including all the movies including the All Stars ones too. I have never seen a anime series that have this much potential for a good dub in America until this so can you try to get it here and dub it with a great voice cast.

Okay, firstly, to answer your question about the new boxed set, I think it is too similar to the first season set but there is still hope that Viz will do justice to the Crystal set when it is released. I hate it when everything on my shelf looks the same. Secondly, they say "Ooo-Saw-Gi" when it should be "Oo-sah-Gi" with the soft A-sound.

If all the episodes use 3 dvds, why couldn't they all fit onto one bluray disc? Especially since they were old masters upscaled, not from a new HD telecine. I want to get these sets but I would have been more likely to buy them if 1.) all the extras were included with the dvd set too and 2.) all the episodes were on one blu ray so if I did pay more for the combo set, I don't have to swap out discs as often.

Chibiusa's voice actress is the only voice in this dub I have heard and liked instantaneously. I'm not really latching onto any of the others but this woman is doing a great job.

It's honestly messed up... Serena is just 14! And already got replaced with her future daughter... Bc from this point on, she's constantly competing with rini, or feels threatened by her. At one point, she even tells darien, that she thinks he likes rini more than her... And that's supposed to be their future daughter...

Viz Media please try to get the license for the whole Precure Franchise. It has huge potential for a good dub and seeing how you are handling the re dub of Sailor Moon I have full faith in your capability in dubbing these types of anime series. From what I heard the 1st season of Precure in English had a good cast and they did a good job doing it but we haven't seen more seasons of it since then. So please try to get The Precure Franchise including all the movies including the All Stars ones too. I have never seen a anime series that have this much potential for a good dub in America until this so can you try to get it here and dub it with a great voice cast.
Masterofvore8 huh Saban Brands has the rights to Precure? Since when? The last time I checked they didn't dub anime series only The Power Rangers Franchise or Super Sentai as it's known in Japan.

Okay, firstly, to answer your question about the new boxed set, I think it is too similar to the first season set but there is still hope that Viz will do justice to the Crystal set when it is released. I hate it when everything on my shelf looks the same.
Secondly, they say "Ooo-Saw-Gi" when it should be "Oo-sah-Gi" with the soft A-sound.

Well I couldn't stand to watch season 1 after getting the dvds. But Chibi will always be my soft spot and I like the voice.

If all the episodes use 3 dvds, why couldn't they all fit onto one bluray disc? Especially since they were old masters upscaled, not from a new HD telecine.
I want to get these sets but I would have been more likely to buy them if 1.) all the extras were included with the dvd set too and 2.) all the episodes were on one blu ray so if I did pay more for the combo set, I don't have to swap out discs as often.

I definitely like Rini's- I mean Chibiusa's new voice~ It's perfect for her! I don't really remember her Dic voice, now that I think about it...Hmm, must have not made as much of an impression on me as the other voices did XD
But season 2, part 1 is only coming out in July!? It's already been almost two months since the last part was released... Damn, this sucks. :/ Oh well...
