The astronaut design is adorable! Much more solid than Juno astronauts

@@TimeMasterOGobviously rockets are more important than astronauts in a space sim but astronauts make the game like 5 times cooler just look at ksp when you get the freeiva mod the game become much more fun and even without it being able to control kerbals is a pretty cool feature

I like that it has a bit of charm.. nothing close to KSP-level charm but I don’t know if anything ever will in this genre
KSP is in a league of its own, but apparently this will run on your cellphone so there has to be a trade-off.

Olympus Mons should be there, from my understanding from the developer the planets should be pretty accurate!

simplerockets 2 (juno): the best spaceflight sim out there that's on mobile

Kerbals are awesome, but if this plays at 60fps all the time its a tempting switch. Plus it looks to be modding friendly(er?)

Pico, what about modding & creating Custom solar systems?
Stef did say that they will have a pathway for modding, but no word yet what that will be or when it will be implemented. As for planets there is talk of interstellar or system swap/hop but not sure that's realistic or wishful thinking at this time as it sounds like there will only be the inner planets at launch (with more coming later to fill out the entire solar system).

Are Astronauts invincible unless you crash or are there other factors to take into account like would you have to realistically send supplies as well? Just curious not going to stop me getting the game sfs 2 came out of nowhere for me glad to brought the dlcs now
I’m assuming they hit something hard enough they die, but so far all the footage mainly has them walking around or floating (EVA) near a ship.

By february is the word on the street, but as all things SFS updates... we will never know until it gets dropped, or leaked.
We already have Kerbal space program
We do, but this will be much more performate and take advange of newer hardware and software improvements.

I doubt it, Stef seems pretty on-board to get this done, main concern is its going to take a long time to get things done because his team is so small.

So far I haven’t seen oxygen limits, although I think they will have fuel limits.

Stock on Mobile will be free, with paid DLC. PC/Mac will be about 20-30$ but you get all DLC off the bat.

It will be released on Mobile and Tablet, but the game is still in development.

From what we are told it will have the same price structure as SFS 1. Free base game on mobile, payable DLC, PC/Mac will be paid but come with all DLC.

If you are on mobile you can download the game for free when its released and it will give you basic parts to be able to fly to the moon and back (Stef has indicated it will be similar DLC spread as SFS 1). So its going to be lit!

Trailer is up along with some leaks, but looking Feb 2024 for a release (which likely means March or April given how things are typically delayed).
Looks extremely cute! Hopefully they’ll allow us to designate certain internal elements as crew accommodations. I don’t want my guys to be stuck inside a cramped capsule for years while making their Jupiter flight!
Another photo sneak peak (check out my other videos) shows internal spaces for astronauts and docking system so it looks like they should be able to move about.

Stock Mobile will likely be free with paid DLC (customization, access to bigger rocket parts, etc).
Mobile stock likely to be free, full game will be paid (similar to how SFS 1 handles it).
