  • In this adventure I'm just outside Cooke City Montana and Yellowstone National Park. The biggest surprise for me was that it was snowing, in August! This is a rocky high elevation trail with lots of rocks and lakes.

Appreciate your video in that you offer locations with your adventures. We have a FJ 2009, we are slowly adding to...we were watching another video adventures, but one in particular never, ever offers his locations. We became so frustrated we no longer view his sight. Agree appreciate that you offer your locations along with your adventures.

Morning Ken, amazing videograpy not sure it's a word. The snow added a dramatic flare to the amazing mountains and lakes. This looked like a pretty docile trail at least for you. I'm sure you and your loyal steed makes it look that way!! Keep FJing 😁👍

Another great video, thanks! And thank goodness there were only grizzly bears and no black bears. Haha.
That looks like my kind of trail.
A: It has a destination. for some reason I need a destination.
B: Just rough enough to be fun but driven carefully no vehicle damage.
C: Oh my! Those lakes are awesome and I bet they are filled with fish.
And yes we all need to obey and cooperate when we come to a road closure or more will be closed to vehicular traffic.

I had the exact same thoughts. I like having a destination, and challenge without too much actual danger. Thanks for watching!

@@offroadhub.official I have spent a lot of time in the backcountry but it is usually on foot or on quads with someone else along in case I break down. I’ve only had to hike out once and phone a friend, before cell phones. My hats off to ya. Love the videos, we have an FJ and are hoping to find some good spots in MT to explore this year.

Trying to get to round lake in July to do some hiking. Would a stock 4runner with steel skid plates make it there or is the trail a bit too technical?
