  • This is my reupload for Disneyland's "it's a small world" Goodbye room through the years. I changed the audio from the first decade from my old 1966 audio recreation (based off of 1971 WDW version) to the original 1964 Worlds Fair finale audio, with the adult chorus at the end. This was confirmed after an incredible 1970 sound recording was uploaded to RUclips, linked below, along with the original version of this video. I hope you enjoy.

This is the goodbye room of Disneyland's "it's a small world" through the years. I have tried to compile footage showing each and every stage in this rooms evolution, from 1966 to the present. We start with the extremely rare original 1966 goodbye room, before seeing the early and late 1970's variations, and then the 80's-90's variation with each of the little changes made throughout that time to that version, and then the current version is shown, which has also seen minor changes in its 20+ years of existence. For the 1960's and 70's variations in particular, I have compiled each and every photo or video that I have found of these extremely rare variations. This is my last "it's a small world" through the years video for time being, although I will eventually be making Walt Disney World's "it's a small world" through the years eventually, as well as possibly other Disneyland attractions such as the Haunted Mansion. I hope you enjoy this video.

Speaking of goodbye room, why does Tokyo has no audio to the goodbye room

I'm guessing at the same time they removed the Bank of America souvenir brochure in 1987 they also removed the accapella effect.

Yes the acapella part is correct! However, I think they continued to have the brochure on Main Street, and the description at the end of this room until their departure in 1990, even after the description was changed in 1987.

I believe it's the early version of the ad for the Bank of America souvenir brochure, which had at least three different versions. The one in the c.1969 clip was either the first or second (depending on if 1966 version had something similar, which is unknown), and that one was probably switched to the next version in 1976 when they changed the Welcome and Goodbye rooms to the versions in the 1977 clips. Although most of these rooms changed again around 1982, the ad at the end of Goodbye remained exactly the same until 1987 (as shown in the 1986 clip). In 1987 it changed to the final version, which only lasted three years since Bank of America ceased sponsoring it's a small world in 1990.
