We visit Akrotri and Monestery of the cats. We visit Posedonia, Atlantica oasis and Amathus hotels and have an amazing dinner at the Syrian restaurant.

Another lovely trip. My late husband and I drove around the base and lake and went into Limassol. Used to like driving around through the countryside Happy memories 🙂😍

George and Sue, good Morning, to you both, Limassol is normally where i stay, on holiday, normally stay at Kapetanios hotel, or the Kapetanios Oydesia, i wish you would have gone to my Favourite cafe in Limassol old town, Petros cafe, by the now closed indoor market, bless you.

Great video again George. Been in Cyprus about 10 times and never been to Limassol yet but the trip would be worthwhile just for that Syrian restaurant. On a separate note, it's my son's 9th birthday next Wednesday (11 August) and wondered if you were putting a video up that day could you put a happy birthday message on it for him, his name is Alexander and watches all your videos with me. I passed through Limassol and the SBA on a trip to the archaeological site at Kurion (the Romans certainly knew how to choose the best sites for their villas). We did the trip in one day but having seen this video I think I would take more time if the travel bans are ever lifted - I'd certainly like to try out the Syrian restaurant; looks delish!

Have you ever done a insight about the northern Cyprus ?
We have been waiting for the crossing points to decide what you need to cross, as soon as that is soe=rted we will get the insurance and do many vlogs.
Everywhere in Cyprus there are good roads to drive on isn't it!?
Most places Jorn, sometime remote places are still dirt track but 95% good roads.

What a disappointment!! You did not show Limassol at all!!! The first 20 minutes was just driving along a non descript road with nothing of interest. What about the old road with the orange and lemon groves, what about the old road leading into Limassol with the Grand hotel, St Rapheal, 4 seasons etc etc? The Kean factory, the Keo factory, The new marina, the old shopping centre, fascinating place, Limassol Mall, Yermasoyia Tourist area and how covid has affected it and how our Russian friends are setting up more and more businesses there which brings in Russian tourists. What about Germasogia dam?What about the whole surrounding area of Limassol with it`s archaeological sites? Not 20 minutes of a film of a road!!! Limassol deserves more than this George!!!
More coming up next week dam will be done when it's cooler. Not as detailed as you wish though sorry.

@@CYPRUSINSIGHT Thank you for your reply. It is just that Limassol is not just a business, commercial, industrial, Tourist city. If you go only a few blocks away from this you will see the true Cyprus. How the ordinary hardworking families work and live.
