Love your data driven approach however for your analysis, correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like your data is incorrect. For example, let's take the 3 recent years. 2019: 0.69% 2018: 0.38% 2017: -0.20% According to Yahoo finance historical data, this is what I calculated for the G/L% for the day. 2019: -0.93% 2018: -0.54% 2017: -0.36% How did you calculate your G/L% for the day?
Hi Avery - Appreciate you doing a deep dive into the data yourself. The data looks correct on my end, and the Excel sheet is available here for members to download, if you'd like to compare and see where you may be off: tosindicators.com/download/21845/ The % formula used is (open - close) / open, if that helps as well. Hope that helps.
Extremely statistical and informative. Beautiful. The community needs more of you
Thanks Travis! Appreciate it.
Nice data due diligence!
Thanks Jim! Appreciate it.
I dig this for Friday. I was actually trying to look up history for the week leading up to it. Is the 72 hrs before down consistently?
5:38 all on 2001 & 2008 though :/
