None other than dem jointz produced this! he is the king of layering sounds. If you listen to them sing this song on first take (a show on RUclips thats a live recording session for groups) they sounded identical vocally, and they did background vocals together….it actually freaked me out!

I love that aespa is always bringing something that has elements that delve into lots of different western genres, but in a way that makes pretty much every song unique. It's interesting though; listen to Armageddon and Black Mamba back to back. There's that callback to the gritty bassline at the start of both songs, and both have some kind of emphasis on Black Mamba (the antagonist in their Kwangya lore/story/arc) so it almost feels like they went full circle.
This song is so on point. Everything about it makes sense. Aespa needs to keep this style going. The album is good, but Armageddon and Supernova are special tracks that are going to attract a new fan base. The rest of the album sounds more typical but I wish they would have just done a full album with this new, harder sound. It just works for them. More please...
