    Love that Ozzie didn't shy away from saying the long layoff has a negative impact on them. It obviously doesn't help, that's for sure.

      It’s clearly an excuse and massive cope. The Astros had the same amount of days off and it didn’t affect them. Maybe the braves can try to win the division and be the 3rd seed so they won’t have the layoff but knowing them they’ll end up losing to the 6th seed 1st rd smh

      @@ChristIsKing_The Astros cheat though. Cheaters don't really count.

      @@matthew01234oh I’m sorry I didn’t realize they cheated this season and last season. I guess I missed that report. Regardless it’s an excuse and the guys need to learn how to deal with the layoff and find a way to get the bats going in the postseason cuz it’s not changing.

      @@ChristIsKing_ Oh... You didn't realize that cheaters usually cheat a lot more often than they get caught? That's the whole reason people cheat in the first place. They know most of the time they won't get caught. If that weren't the case no one would ever cheat. That's like pretending Barry Bonds head grew to a humongous size for no reason because he was only caught testing positive for steroids once. Do you really believe Bonds was clean every year he wasn't caught? Cheaters cheat. That's what they do. Getting away with it is the entire reason anyone cheats in the first place.

      @@ChristIsKing_ baseball players are the most routine players in sports. And when you have a week off that messes with players timing, pitchers release point, and more.

    This was absolutely awesome! It was killing me when it was cutting out. Not sure what thats about

      Yeah... That's what I was just asking in a comment. I didn't know if it was on my end. What was the question the kid asked Murphy? It sounded like, "What was it like to win MVP?" but the last word was blurred out in the middle. Then Murphy said, "It's great." But Murphy never won an MVP. So... What was that question? Those cordless microphones need to be throw straight in the garbage. Or at least given to charity or something. That whole event was way too expensive for it to be wasted by some bad microphones I would think. Still very fun to watch though.

  • @matthew01234
    @matthew01234 7 месяцев назад +2

    A great interview. I gotta be honest though the microphone sound quality was a bit disappointing. Was it just me or did the microphones cut out frequently for pretty much every person talking? Some of the questions and answers I couldn't even understand. The question to Sean Murphy I didn't hear at all. I just heard a kid asking him an untillegible question and then Murphy say "It was great." If I had to guess I would have said it sounded like the kid said "What is it like to win MVP?" but Murphy never won MVP so... What was the question again?

    • @mjgamez208
      @mjgamez208 7 месяцев назад +1

      He said “what was it like to be in the MLB”

    • @matthew01234
      @matthew01234 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@mjgamez208 Ahhh... I guess that makes sense too. Thanks for the clarification. Not the first question I would ask an All-Star starting catcher but I'm also not a little kid so the kid probably just really wanted to know. I actually like the "KidCam" interviews because the players are funny and the kids are honest.

      Blackout areas suck. Some blackout areas have 7 teams blacked out because they are in the middle of territories. So if you don't live near a baseball team you can't watch any of them at all. MLB shouldn't allow that many teams to be blacked out. I personally just go with cable because streaming has gotten so complicated and it's actually a lot more expensive if you care about sports because you have to pay for 2 streams for each team just to get your sports games and that alone costs about $70 a month for each team alone during the season. Then if you want to watch any regular TV you have to pay to stream that too. So I just go with too expensive cable but at least I get every sports game I want to watch from every local team and still have other stuff that I like to watch too. There's definitely some good shows I miss on streaming networks but it'll be a cold day in heck before I trade my sports for that. I'd rather get my sports and supplement the shows that are the best before I sell out for the shows and try to supplement the sports. Otherwise I'd have to spend 5 or 6 nights a week at some kind of sports bar that plays the games I like. Not worth it IMO. They can keep their Netflix and I'll keep my Braves, Falcons, Bulldogs, History Channel, Science Channel, etc, etc.

      True. The Braves are more talented than Philadelphia and I’m not sure why they perform as if they’ve never seen that team. Nevermind, that the Phillies talk mad trash and we act like we’re above getting fired up. Definitely mental but I do think Kelenic and Sale will bring more fire.
