When choosing a new apostle to replace Judas among the Twelve, Peter declared, “one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection” (Acts 1:22). An apostle had to be appointed by Jesus Christ Himself. His apostles specifically to take His gospel to the world (Mark 3:14; Luke 6:13; Acts 1:2, 24; 10:41; Gal. 1:1). Third, it was necessary for an apostle of Jesus Christ to confirm his mission and message by miraculous signs (2 Cor 12:12; Heb 2:3-4; also see Matt. 10:1-2; Acts 1:5-8; 2:43; 4:33; 5:12; 8:14). All three of these criteria needed to be met for apostleship. It is clear that the gift/office of apostleship must have ceased after the Apostolic Age since no one can meet the qualifications given in the New Testament.

Do u not know what Ephesians 4:11-16 says, and to some the gift of apostles and others of prophecy etc. wakeup and enjoy the dispensation of grace. For it is written, in Joel 2:28-32 and in the latter days, I will pour out my spirit and ur son's and daughters will prophesy. Don't be critical in every move of God, just pursue ur salvation and leave the business of God to the ancient of days.
