Completely agree about the steamy scenes. It took away from the plot, to the point i almost rolled my eyes each time one came along, which felt like every other page.

I read queen of myth and misters first and didn’t realize it was the second book until I read the king of battle and blood😂

The ending has confused me SO MUCH.
Spoilers ahead: do not proceed if you plan on reading.
    ‐---------------------------------------------------------------------
So Ravena pulls Isolde into another plane and all of a sudden Ana is there and apparently is the one that has caused the crimson mist? What I'm confused about is Ravena even real? All of a sudden she just vanishes and Ana is there. Was Ana working through Ravena?
And why is Isolde afraid to tell Adrian she was pregnant? Is she afraid Dis is going to get mad?
And I'm assuming that everyone wants to kill Adrian because they're afraid of Dis taking him over?
Sorry, maybe I was just extremely tired reading this, but I feel it left so many questions and loose threads and it is so frustrating.

I 100% agree. There was just so many plot holes that were just filled up by the spicy scenes. I love smut but kinda needed more plot in this. I hope we will get answers and closure in Book 3!

So basically Ravens is Ana in disguise, Ana pretends to have another identity 😊

I personally don’t like this book the toxic relationship theme is extremely repetitive. Honestly there isn’t much of a plot. They argue and then they fuck and Adrian continues to tell her that he loves her so much , she continues being stubborn and doing the opposite of what he says like it’s just repetitive and toxic

I really wanted more plot. I am all for a spicy read but I thought it just took away from the book. Unfortunately I am invested it what will happen and read the next one. I wish I could DNF books/series.
