My recommendation would be to learn naked price action. Trendlines aren't going to get you far.

Traded crypto from feb 1 to around june this year, made 3x. Then one evening I was sitting on couch watching tv, I thought to myself, what if I trade now, i can perhaps make some more money, came out to be the worst decision, lost 40%, I just put my money into a coin that was falling without any technical analysis as I was tired and wanted a quick buck (I dont know why). It was really hard to get started again, motivation was gone and its been 3 months since. What I basically did from feb to june, a lot of technical analysis and then take profits if coin hit 4% or lost 2%, I picked the coins that were in the play and being traded heavily. I traded btc/alts and after the trading day, all my portfolio was converted into usdt, so when i was sleeping, I couldn't lose anything. When I start trading again I will always convert my portfolio into usdt so I can sleep peacefully, will start next year again, have to focus on other things for now. :)
edit: I lost 40% over like 3 days, my money was in an altcoin, so during that mini crash, not only the alt lost it's value, but so did the btc.

Hey Keithen, in terms of strategy wise i learn from Falcon so you'd have to become a member to see the content on the website. However, there is a tonne of free content on their instagram and youtube page too so definitely check that out for free content (falcontradingguidance). In terms of books, 'Trading in the zone' is really good and helpful, with the psychology of trading which is super important.

How do you account for brexit related risks on pound pairs? Great content as ever!
Don't focus on it too much because the direction of the market is always decided in advance, so i let the structures tell me where price is likely to go. But if theres some big brexit news announcement, i wouldn't be taking a trade naturally because of the volatility. But if i was already in a trade, i'd still stay in just make sure i have the risk off of the table and manage accordingly

Michael Bamber that makes no sense. How can the direction of the market be decided in advance by just price structures? It’s all about the fundamentals that’s driving the markets. Use technicals only for entry and you’re better off not going long in pound because a no deal brexit will further plummet pound against all currencies which is more than likely.
@@NoName-ny1bt I agree with Michael. Fundamentals only affect the market direction depending on how the big guns react to it. Having that said, a negative fundamental does not always guarantee that the pair will crush, hence we just let the market play out.

It all works out towards knowing at what entry point is to enter in for a price-movement. If that skill will take more than a month to master then it's made overly complicated.
From an outside perspective it probably seems that way. But technicals themselves take a long time to master, just like any craft, hours upon hours of repetition. There's other the Psychology side which accounts for 90% of trading

Hi Michael, I am also from falcon slowly learning the strategy but lately I have been getting consecutive 1R losses so wanted to know your experience on loosing streaks, how many 1R losses do you usually have consecutively and how do you deal with them? Also have you had any red months during the year ?
Hey! Yeah i've had my fair share, it's a part of the journey and super important to go through it, develops your character and shapes you into the person you want to become. It helps you create that mental armour that i talked about in the video 🙏 I'm guessing 1R means 1%? Its a game ofprobabilitiess and we dont know the exact sequence of wins to losses, no one does. But when you have an edge,you'vee tested it through data and you know it works, you understand that it's about yourt edge playing out over the course of a sequencee of trades and not individual trades. So because you dont know the sequence, you could have win, loss, loss, break even, loss, win, win, break even etc etc. But if you have an edge, it plays out over time 🙏
