Every song in this movie is used perfectly to match the scene in which it's being utilized this is one of those movies that though it is not a musical it is very musically driven much like a Tarantino movie and Wright does it just as well in this movie
Edgar and Quentin are friends. Quentin was on a commentary track for Hot Fuzz and at the premier, they set up a stall to sell dvds of Point Break and Bad Boys II. Apparently, nobody wanted Bad Boys II to the point that they couldn’t even give it away for free.
Every night I'm there, I'm always there, she knows I'm there, and heaven knows, I hope she goes I find it hard to realize that love was in her eyes, it's dying now, she knows I'm crying now, And every night I'm there, I break my heart to please Eloise, Eloise You know I'm on my knees, yeah, I said please You're all I want so hear my prayer, my prayer My Eloise is like the stars that please the night, the sun that makes the day, that lights the way And when my star goes by, I'll hold it in my hands and cry, her love is mine, my sun will shine Every night I'm there I break my heart to please Eloise, Eloise You're all I want, you gotta hear my prayer My Eloise, I'd love to please her, I'd love to care, but she's not there And when I find you, I'd be so kind, you'd want to stay, I know you'd stay And as the days grow old, the nights grow cold, I want to hold her near to me, I know she's dear to me And only time can tell and take away this lonely hell, I'm on my knees to Eloise And every night I'm there, I break my heart to please Eloise, Eloise You are my life so hear my prayer You are the price, I know you're there You're all I want so hear my prayer You're all I need and I'm not there
The scene never made sense to me in the movie. Like why does the guy play this song to scare the main character. When he’s not the bad guy and he knows it.
I think he was a cop but was also part of the club of girls dancer but he only saw that Sandy was different and could get out of it but yeah it’s probably that he outlived everyone and was sinister looking

Totally agree and that is why it is one the best movies in the year

agree
Soundtrack was perfect in ‘Last Night in Soho’ ❤️ this scene was 10/10
This soundtrack is awesome!
This feels like it anticipates the glam sounds of a few years later, while also being very much grounded in the late 60s.
This scene gave me ‘Never gonna give you up’ Baby Driver scene vibes.
Sameeeee
Same director!
@@lennonlarose I know :D
I was waiting for you, wondering where you were, and I put your song on. And low and behold, you show up
Every night I'm there,
I'm always there, she knows I'm there,
and heaven knows, I hope she goes
I find it hard to realize that love was in her eyes,
it's dying now, she knows I'm crying now,
And every night I'm there, I break my heart to please
Eloise, Eloise
You know I'm on my knees, yeah, I said please
You're all I want so hear my prayer, my prayer
My Eloise is like the stars that please the night,
the sun that makes the day, that lights the way
And when my star goes by, I'll hold it in my hands and cry,
her love is mine, my sun will shine
Every night I'm there I break my heart to please
Eloise, Eloise
You're all I want, you gotta hear my prayer
My Eloise, I'd love to please her,
I'd love to care, but she's not there
And when I find you, I'd be so kind,
you'd want to stay, I know you'd stay
And as the days grow old, the nights grow cold,
I want to hold her near to me, I know she's dear to me
And only time can tell and take away this lonely hell,
I'm on my knees to Eloise
And every night I'm there, I break my heart to please
Eloise, Eloise
You are my life so hear my prayer
You are the price, I know you're there
You're all I want so hear my prayer
You're all I need and I'm not there
es increíble como esta canción es tan bonita pero en esa escena de la peli es tan perturbadora y da asco, tremendo
Did anybody noticed that the song name is same as the female protagonist's name of this movie?
see the guardian obit to clarify
The old man literally said "or can I call you Eloise? Like the old song."

Thank you very much

I guess he thought he had rizz, but he didn't; he was just a scary-looking old timer.
