I agree, it seems very weird to me that he would not be primed to the images. I remember one episode where Chris McCausland was on, and he made a comment during the show about 'when they explained the picture to me earlier', so that time it did seem like he got some information beforehand. But here we hear Jamie make several comments about not knowing what's going on. That's really a shame, since we know they've done at least *something* to make it easier for blind panelists before.
Love watching HIGNFY at the end of my week. Helps keep me sane and as an American I can only laugh along with the Brit's jokes about OUR government leaders!

What the so many PMs in succession who are Oxford grads tell us is that getting the top jobs are about where you came from and who you know, not about ability.
You can’t graduate from any elite university entirely without merit: the standards are just too high. Even BoJo has merit, he just uses it to serve only himself. That you are so triggered by mentions of Oxford is your issue.
@@Kate-lk6tw You didn't address my comment properly. Firstly, I never criticise these Oxford PMs not obtaining a good degree. Are you saying a second-upper Classics graduate from Oxford is better than a first class engineer, lawyer, scientist, etc from any other UK university to be the PM? The answer maybe yes, but it's not for the reason you think (merits). Secondly, me having an issue or not with Oxford is personal. Nothing to do with my comment. The question is do you think my original comment has merits or not.
I dont understand this at all. Jamie should have had an earpiece with descriptive commentary for all the pictures. I am very disappointed with this episode. It shows a marked lack of respect for Mr MacDonald specifically and blind people in general. Shame on them.

How did the producers not think of slight modifications for the format to make it less image focused? Like play an audio clip quote instead of showing a photo. This is such a good example of ableism. Jamie MacDonald could have contributed good content to every section on the show, but instead he is left sitting around like a numpty during all of the image centered rounds. Even Jamie's into didn't mention a single aspect of his resume, only his blindness. What a joke.
I found the opening joke about him put me off Steph immediately. It was weird and not funny. And BBC getting on blind comedians (as they should) but making them feel completely at a loss...ridiculous. Don't understand all the comments saying it was a good episode
I’m so sorry Harry is so derided in the UK. I think he just “abdicated” more or less. It happened to the queen’s uncle, was he roundly hated after he did that? I think he just decided he didnt like “the firm” and the UK people think it is such a privileged position he was ungrateful to walk away. He has always been a rebel and a free spirit. Also people are always questioning his parentage.
You’re kidding, right? The Queen’s uncle Edward was an open Nazi supporter who, after his own abdication, wanted to help Hitler overthrow his own brother and his family including the young future queen and install himself and Wallis (also a Nazi supporter and a longtime lover of a prominent SS officer) on the throne as leaders of a puppet state. Yes, Edward was and is hated by most Brits and anyone else who actually knows anything about him. And no, that’s not a plot point from The Crown, it’s an historical fact.
The Queen's uncle was never forgiven by the Britsh people. I don't think many people would have cared had Harry just left the Firm and gone off to live the life of a private individual. It was the blaming and whining and 'poor me' act that won him such disdain.
If he wishes respect,He has to stop making money selling lurid details about his own family to tabloids ,publishers and Oprah. If he does indeed want a normal life ,learn a normal trade.😒
He's a big know-it-all who insists everyone live like him and his wife. I have mental disorders and I appreciate the work he does for that sector, but he's so smug and I don't understand why Americans love him so much. This American does NOT. Go back to Canada!
