Portugal never had a tradition in rugby but I am proud of the "Lobos" (portuguese word for wolfs) for the passion with which they play as amateurs and I continue to be proud whether they win or lose, against Australia they lost 34-14 but 21 points were scored when Portugal played with 14 players and against Georgia, Portugal tied the game just because the post moved in the last minute (joke)

I was at home enjoying my Saturday afternoon and decided to watch Wales vs Portugal, I knew little about Portugal, but something told me that Los Lobos would be a good team and what a team!!!! I thought they would play in a rough way with the foward, something very northern hemisphere, but I saw a very intense team, and always with the intention to play with their hands. I congratulate them and I wish them, if they keep working like this, a sure advance among the T2 nations. I am an Argentinean who lives in Spain and I believe that Spain will be overtaken.
You are much more dynamic and vertiginous, you play a rugby, which although it suffers from the lack of more technical players, but by improving the player base you can improve a lot.

I'm British, love & proud of it. Actually, I love several anthems. Love the South African anthem. Love the French anthem. Love the American anthem. If I could understand more anthems & learn their tunes I know I would love even more anthems. Each to his own. I'm not here to judge, I'm here to enjoy the 2023 RWC. But I so love watching each team lined up singing their anthem with such pride, passion & feeling - some players are close to tears & seeing that really pulls at one's heart strings - it's an honour to see these teams represent their countries... & as Nelson Mandela pointed out, sport unites people all around the world xx@@HusseinDoha

You do know that more than half the Portuguese team are amateurs, not professionals. They still have their 9 to 5 jobs. So, Welsh even having my respect for their game can be a honest comparison, can they? and we did stop a "beach ball" named Fiji by the way
