I grew up in the 80s when George dominated the pop culture. I was WAY too cool for him. I was into hard rock. I grew up and was working in an office and someone gave a copy of his double greatest hits. It laid in my car for months. One day I gave it a listen and was blown away by this man’s voice and song writing. Such beautiful words, music and man. I began to listen to his music more and more. That was over 20 years ago. I loved his hits but never explored much deeper. Last Spring this song just randomly started playing on my RUclips scroll. OMG, it’s so beautiful, his vocals so strong and the words so raw. This has become one of my all time favorites. I hope in time I find more amazing songs on this level. Rest is peace George ❤

It’s been over 5 years now since George died and he is still greatly missed. Such a pity he didn’t find long term peace and happiness in his lifetime. The pain in his voice singing “Waiting” is so sad. The man was a musical genius!

It always seemed someone with that level of despair had some sort of illness. He was ashamed of himself! He was a wonderful Artist and I think he should have been proud of himself.
Surely Listen Without Prejudice has to be one of the greatest albums of all time? Every song is fantastic and has its own story to tell and its own meaning he was trying to get across. This tiny melody thrown on the end of the album is such a touching and heartfelt song. The man was a song writing genius and it's a huge loss to music. I'm gutted he's gone I really am. RIP.

Alans6563 Definitely I agree it's a masterpiece in my opinion,every track is amazing.Just a beautiful timeless album.He was a genius songwriter,producer arranger, musician but most of all one of the greatest and most beautiful voices of all time.

Listen Without Prejudice is one of the greatest albums I'll ever listen to. I was but a mere 19 when it was released. I can still remember the lyrics when I listen to it now after all these years. It's music like this that has meaning, after the years that have passed. This Album was billed as volume 1, always hoped for volume 2.

Words are not enough, and I usually can find them because I tend to write a lot and express a lot..and I have shared so much about how George has touched my heart and soul and how he does every single day. So well said. Completely in a league of his own. His brilliance as a singer(the RANGE-the richness the tenderness the power..) and as a songwriter oh my goodness-no, words can’t express ..producer..performer -but HIS HEART AND SOUL. This album was one that he really truly, after what he had been through-he need that TIME to write again. This album is worth every ounce of the PATIENCE waiting AND the other reason George said, is that he considers PATIENCE to be the most important (one of) virtue. Also, a true express of his heart and soul in every way-everything he created was full of heart and soul(the beauty of which I can’t begin to describe-the LOVE Compassion Generosity.l.every ounce authentic, genuine true, SOUL.

I hope someday the world hears this song the way I do. It's SO perfect, and so few people have ever even heard it. My children (8 and 6) know it well, and love it. They always sing along to the last few lines.

This song speaks directly to my heart, it makes it ache and it also helps it heal. George Michael was my first crush back when Wham! I was a young teenager then, barely understanding desire, love, relationships, or being a gay man. I was already wounded by the stain of abuse. Now I listen to him, to this song and it speaks to me today, all these years later, with even more sense and depth that when it first came out. "You once said there's a way back for every man... so here I am!" I miss you George, I am grateful for your creative genius, for your bravery as an artist, for the voice of an angel you left behind for me to still hold you close to my living beating heart.
