Oh I think Alistair is well aware that ignorance is not a bliss, I think his tone was thoughfull and somehow sacastic, given his playfull conerstion with the dog. But at his point he prefers the comfort of ignorance, because of his lack of confidence. I love his interactions with the dog. They are adorable. Great part.
