Premium Collection 2, if it's done, should be Ashura, Luinor, Fafnir, as you said, and then Devolos (I'd personally prefer the Venom layer), so we'd have all 4 types of beys: defense, attack, stamina, and balance. Premium Collection 1 was pretty good and I love that Hasbro seem to finally be getting back on track with delivering quality beys. I'm just waiting for the Burst Legends line though where we get the beys exactly as they are in the anime (note I said that and not TT): hoping and praying that they do that. :l *(Edit: Also did you know Valtryek is a girl?)*
You know, I can appreciate the fact that Hasbro went back and made these beys look better but I can't help but find it laughable how they call it the "Prenieum Collection". It's just simple asthetic changes, the beys still SUCK. But hey they look cool at least? I personally find it sad how it's gotten to the point that we have to make up excuses for why you should buy Hasbro beys. Let's be real here... this is just a repack of the same old beys, with the same stupid gimmick. Hasbro does not care about the series. And most people only buy these because they cannot afford (or do not have access) to the Takara releases. I do not understand how as a community we just accept the treatment that Hasbro is giving Burst because "You can just buy the Takara releases anyway who cares?" Do people just forget that the team which worked on Metal Fusion back in the day were able to deliver near identical releases to Takara? Hasbro is not incompetent, they work closely with Takara Tomy. They just refuse to put in the effort because they know people will buy the cheaper ones and make excuses for their lack of effort. Now there are probably people in the team over at Hasbro that are just as passionate about the series as we are and do want to give us accurate and cool beys but they ultimately have to listen to the higher ups that make these decisions to focus on the gimmicks and cut costs. As long as they keep getting the cash in, (and people keep making excuses for them online) they will continue to focus on gimmicks instead of giving you the actual Bey you as a blader want. I know my comment won't "magically" change the state of the series but i'm just expressing my thoughts. Sorry for the long comment but I just wanted to say something about this xD Keep up the awesome content Jake! :)
Bravo my man: bravo. You knocked it out of the park. It bugs me a crap ton as well, and this is coming from a die-hard Metal Saga fan who originally thought of Burst as being a pathetic and terrible successor to the first and second generations, because it felt like we took a step backwards instead of forwards by making the beys plastic again, and nerfing their strength by adding a stupid gimmick where they burst if you hit them hard enough. They can't even stay together! Yet when I finally gave a little boy named Valt Aoi a chance and started watching the anime, I realized just how wrong I had been. For the longest time since I got into Beyblade I've been hoping and dreaming to also get stadiums that are just like in the anime: well we got it, but at the expense of the beys, which are the real sellers and the face of the whole brand. I'm a guy who prefers quality over quantity, and if I had things my way, if you can't do something right, then get out of here so we can get someone who can. I know for a fact that Hasbro isn't incompetent, because like you just said they aren't. It was Hasbro who made first generation beys just like Takara Tomy did. It was Hasbro who made second generation Metal Saga beys just like Takara Tomy did. And it was also Hasbro who were making third generation Burst system beys just like Takara Tomy does, and in some cases, they did better. Until we got the set with Twin Noctemis and Strike Valtryek: everything went downhill from there. Adding a rail system for Turbo was awesome, but one, not all the beys were designed for SlingShock, two, the rails weren't originally in the anime to begin with, and three, as fun as they are irl, the system isn't even that good: I get lucky if I manage to hit a bey sitting in the center without being redirected, and don't even get me started with the Cross Collision or Championship Clash stadiums where you literally just run circles. On top of that the beys were nerfed, but at least they still kept their original design for the most part. When Rise came around, Hypersphere changed all of that: these beys can't even be compared to their previous seasons, even though Hasbro made them! Customizing with Hypersphere is now practically limited to only Hypersphere, lest the older Hasbro beys get nerfed even further. Like you said, I am sure there are Hasbro employees who are just as passionate about Beyblade as we are and want to give us top-quality, anime-accurate beys. Yet for whatever reason the higher-ups decided to ditch said quality in favor of stuff so cheap, that scenes in the English anime have to be cut because the beys irl aren't like that! And it's painful to watch. In other words, Beyblades have been reduced to nothing but plastic toys. The worst part is that's what I originally described Burst as before I warmed up to it. Even if they do decide to do Burst Legends where they recreate the beys exactly as they are, what do they plan to do: rerelease every single bey they made with the proper quality that they originally lacked? That's just stupid, and it won't work. If they do this I guarantee there will be that one bey that doesn't get remade the way it should even though it has a strong following. Of course by one I mean multiple. Unless they prove me wrong. I doubt it though. I hate having to beat on someone for something like this, or anything for that matter, but it's true. I don't have anything against Hasbro, but I just expected better from them. This one guy (whom I fully respect btw) Spyder says that it makes no sense to rain on Hasbro like this because they want to be different from TT. Solid argument, but imo, they need to focus on being better than them. If they truly care about their fanbase, they should. This is not better than TT, by no means not because they're inferior, but because TT took the time to make the beys exactly as they are, and Hasbro didn't. Glad you took the time to express your feelings and do so with logic and reason. Not something I see too often in today's modern world, especially with our generation. Props to you mate. *(Edit: you spelt "Premium" and "aesthetic" incorrectly; also you forgot to capitalize "I'm" at the end of your piece :)*
As a Fan of TT, I haven’t thought about Hasbro that way. But most, if not everything you’ve said could be true. I’m not going to rant too because you guys have already stated the most important. Props to both of you for bringing up the extremely overlooked problems of Hasbro.
This looks way better than the normal hasbro beyblades
Glad you were able to fix the video! Hasbro did a great job making these beys look just like the Takara Tomy versions!
This thing is basically a Bandai Premium. Same thing at the bases ones, with more sparkles.
Oops I forgot that he re-uploaded it cuz of the audio

None of the others have gimmicks, they have to balance it out
They look like the Takara Tomy releases, but the drivers are all wrong.
