    What type of varnish/finish are you using? Beautiful... also did you use denatured alcohol?

    That's some skill . Does the "B" string lack in volume , I assume that's a full-size
    monster . I was kinda bummed when you didn't show the nut being made .
    Still , thanks for a great , kind of inspiring video .
    Can I ask , what was the price tag for that mod ?

      Loose neck joint. I suspect maybe, due to shrinking of the wood. Neck joint must fit like a glove. Just a guess

    It's not obvious from the video why a neck graft was necessary. Were there some other neck defects other than the broken heel and the joint to the body.
    Why not just repair the end of the heel and the neck pocket. It would have eliminated all that time consuming neck shaping and left more of the original instrument?
